Session 1 covers:
° introduction
° why study economics
° scarcity
° economic systems
° income inequality
° positive v normative statements
° taxation
Session 1 has 7 lessons. The lessons are taught by Nate, a fictional high school economics teacher. Nate has 12 fictional students. Each lesson has a short lecture and video, student responses to the assignment question, and a brief student story. The story is serialized over the course of the year and provides background and context to the student comments.
