About
ecSetup configures Edgecore access points and IoT devices directly from your
phone. No laptop, no console cable, and no existing network required.
CONNECT TWO WAYS
Bluetooth reaches a device that has never been on a network — straight out of
the box, or after a factory reset. Once the device is on your local network,
ecSetup finds it automatically and switches to a faster local connection.
CONFIGURE WHAT MATTERS
• Wireless SSIDs — name, band, security, and per-SSID options
• Radio settings — country, channel, bandwidth, and mesh
• Networking and local networks — addressing, DHCP, VLANs
• Firewall and port forwarding
• Hotspot with a captive portal, and OpenRoaming profiles
• System settings — hostname, time, logging, SSH
Every change is reviewed before it is applied, and the app tells you what the
device reported back rather than assuming it worked.
MANAGE THE DEVICE, NOT JUST ITS CONFIG
• Live status — clients, radios, throughput, uptime
• Firmware upgrades, with the builds available for your exact model
• Reboot and factory reset
• Switch between standalone and cloud management
BUILT FOR THE FIELD
Devices are configured one at a time, in front of you, with no account to
create and no cloud round trip. When a change interrupts your own connection —
which it will, if you are connected through the device you are configuring —
the app says so plainly and picks the result back up once you are reconnected.
SUPPORTED DEVICES
• Edgecore EAP115 and EAP115a access points
• Pi7a HaLow IoT gateways
• Edgecore smart door locks
Requires the device to be within Bluetooth range for first-time setup, or on
the same local network for LAN management.
