Ask the school to correct your details — from the app. Until now the app let you update only your email address and photo. Anything else — a misspelt name, a parent's name, an old phone number, the wrong address, a date of birth that doesn't match the birth certificate — meant a trip or a phone call to the school office. Now you can send the correction from the app instead. Open Profile > My Info > Request a correction, change what's wrong, and send it. Each field shows what the school currently holds, so you can see exactly what you're changing. It goes to the school for approval, not straight onto the record. Nothing changes until someone at the school approves it, and they can accept some of your corrections and decline others. You'll get a notification in the app and an email as soon as they decide, including their note and exactly which details were accepted. Your requests and their status stay on the same screen, and you can withdraw one while it's still waiting. A note: your school decides which details can be requested, so the options you see are the ones your school has chosen to accept. If you don't see this yet, your school hasn't switched it on.
