Keeps losing the linked account
The app is generally pretty useful. One feature I use a lot is linked accounts - so you can administer the books borrowed by other people in your family by linking their library cards to yours. But in recent months the app has started to lose these links. You add a linked account, it works, then next time you use the app it’s gone again. I must now have added back the same linked account hundreds of times. It just happens randomly - not every time, but the majority of the time. It’s infuriating. Please, if you ever touch this app again Edinburgh Libraries - and judging by the 13 year old reviews, you’ve forgotten it even exists - please fix this awful bug. Thanks.

Can’t use it to reserve a book
This app has not been well tested. I get an invalid date error when I try to reserve a book. It’s such a shame! Please fix!

Pretty useless as far as my (personally) most used functionality is concerned. You cannot add to or even view your wishlist in app.
Reservation Queue Number
App does the job but I'd just like to know how far down the queue I am with my reservation for a book I've been waiting to read for a while.

Good App, useful for searching the catalogue whether in or outwits the library. It would be useful to have a Wishlist feature

Currently, this app is utterly useless.
Unable to connect to server
The all-new app says that it’s unable to connect to its server. The only option it gives after that is “Try again”. My phone is online.
Could be better
The in-app renewal process is easy to use and fast, but the search option seems to be broken, as whenever I try to search, it won’t let me click on the bar and type.
Library system updated - can't login
Edinburgh libraries have recently upgraded their system and the app has been unable to login for past week . Have deleted and reinstalled but no joy .
Generally good
Good app. Though haven't done update. Would it be possible to add notification when books are due? Would be very helpful to avoid fines when busy life gets I the way of memory!!
Needs an update
App no longer works on ios9 - any screen you click it displays either limited info or a blank white screen. Deleted & reinstalled to no effect. Please update and fix.
Works well
I use this regularly to manage my account and to search for and reserve books. I don't appear to have the problems mentioned in the other reviews
Pretty useless
Barcode scanner doesn't work. Doesn't seem to allow multiple cards to be added which would be helpful as then I could renew my children's books too.

The one thing this app won't let me do is reserve books. The one thing i'd like to do on the move is reserve books. This must be an easy fix. Otherwise the app is easier to use than the main library website. Figure that one out!

Ok, but needs work
This app does work pretty well but when I tried to scan my membership card the app kept crashing! Not ideal. (Had to type in the number instead.) Also would be great to have library opening hours included somewhere, please.

I like the idea of this app however for me it's let down by it's checking your accounts current loans/renewal function.Frustratingly the app won't update/refresh your current loans or renewals(it does when you access your account via yourlibrary website).Also it would be good if you could save your membership nos when logging in.

Won't launch without a network connection
The app won't even launch to its main screen unless you have some kind of network connection - in fact, it hangs, leaving you with nothing but a white screen. The only way to rest it is to go to the multi-tasking and kill it completely.
I was hoping to use this as a replacement for my library card (one less thing to carry around) but because of the problem above I can't even show the barcode to library staff unless I turn on my wifi, 3g or gprs and get a connection. This shouldn't be necessary.
