Markdown, properly Headings, bold, italic, links, quotes and code blocks are now highlighted while you write - previously .md files were not highlighted at all. Code inside a fenced block is highlighted in its own language. Press return in a list and the next bullet appears; numbered lists count up and an empty item ends the list. There is a rendered preview too, side by side with the editor on a wide screen. HTML files preview as well. Syntax highlighting rebuilt Strings, operators, constants, conditionals and many other elements were never being coloured. All 25 languages look right now. Everything in Editor Options is free Line wrapping, invisible characters, page guide, line height, soft tabs, indent width, regular expressions, replace all and go to line are no longer a separate purchase. Themes remain the only optional purchase.
