Scam- probably not even connected with official Descript
This app is just a brick unless you pay $50 first. It doesn't allow you to log in with my "pre existing account" without paying either. At first I thought that this company had reworked its subscription, but I did some digging and this doesn't even look like it's attached to Descript (per the emails it's given in prior reviews not matching with the team over at the actual company) do NOT pay for this app, and find another alternative

Just pay and hope for the best.
Sad that the app doesn’t give you a trial or basic package to try before buying. Only option is $50 for the year and hope it works. Nah… to many other apps out there to blind buy a product without trying. Specially with the low reviews it already has. In this economy, we need to be mindful of every $.

I recently purchased a Descript subscription for $49.99 and have been experiencing multiple issues that have prevented me from using the service.
After logging into my account on my phone, I was unable to retrieve a video I previously uploaded, even though the video was originally created using Descript. Additionally, when I try to log in on my laptop, my account is not being recognized, and I do not have access to the AI features included with my subscription.
This has been extremely frustrating, especially since I paid for the service and have not been able to fully use the features I subscribed for. I have already reached out to customer support and am currently waiting for a response, but I wanted to share my experience because I hope these issues can be resolved quickly.

Customer support goes to a personal outlook account. No response. App doesn’t work. Won’t process any video of any file size. No reply from support. Refund requested. Support emails ignored.
