WORST APP
Does not work. Freezes. Non-intuitive user interface. Edits to profile do not hold. Password reset does not work. Abysmal design and functionality. A total embarrassment and disgrace to something which is supposed to be for education. Ridiculous waste of time.
Awful, terrible, inefficient “upgrade”
I agree with my fellow EDJOIN app users…this so-called upgrade is atrocious! The old app was actually useful. This version is literally unusable and a mess. I’m assuming school districts have to pay to list jobs on this site…how unfortunate that they are going to have a decrease in applicants as a result of the app being so inefficient and difficult to navigate.

Crashing during job season
Had to download new app since I have newest iOS. Now every time I try to open the app it crashes. The summer is the must see time of year for new jobs. Kind of bummed the app does not work. The website is antiquated too. Bring back the map region search. Looking up Los Angeles county is too large for anyone.

Won’t load
Updated phone and had to load the new version of edjoin. Now it won’t load at all and just blinks on then off.

Support for Dark Mode
I sometimes have to switch my phone out of dark mode to run the edjoin app since some of the menus and submenus and posting are displaying dark mode but the text is not legible.

Useless
I downloaded app. I could not figure out how to do a regional search like you can online. When I put in teacher, SF Bay Area- I got “no results”. That’s impossible. I was on the desktop version just this morning and there are plenty of job postings. The interface is useless

Wish I could give zero stars. Sorting doesn’t work, text doesn’t show up, impossible to navigate. Deleting!
Downgrade from last version
I recently had to switch phones and re-download all my apps . I guess I had an older version of Edjoin where district / agency names were posted on the list your search generates . This new version is extremely inefficient and makes a mess out of navigation and sorting the jobs that would be good possibilities without having to sift in and out of postings . It almost validates my conspiracy theory that software/ app developers purposely make new versions problematic , to generate future work .I have noticed that happens tons on the iPhone. A new OS version comes out which is much more problematic than the last. When something that used to take one step, now requires three steps. This stuff always gets my wheels turning.

Would give 0 stars if possible
Text doesn’t show up when updating profile information, rendering it impossible to know what is already written (if you have a previous profile which I do) and makes it impossible to know what you’re writing.

Can’t see locations, salary, and details in dark mode for the job postings.

Won’t Open
Although the app has never been the most functional at least it used to function. About 2 weeks ago, it stopped working. I tap the app to open it, it says “logging in”, and it immediately closes. It’s worthless if I can’t even open it! Using on an iPhone8.
Crashes
It doesn’t open. You click on it and it starts to open only to crash every single time. I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It still won’t even open. The desktop website works great but the app is useless if it won’t open.
Does not work
I tested the search feature with known listings from the web site, and the app returns no results. Do not bother with this app for now.

The actual website is great. This app is hard to use and confusing.
Not user friendly
Even harder to find targeted jobs with the new app. It no longer shows number of jobs, the list is incomplete, does not show the district’s name unless you click into it, has limited options. If you go back, it does not show where you were and you need to search from the first item on the list again.
