Edumo

As a foreign language teacher Edumo allows you to provide your learners with a language learning app experience including bite-sized content, gamification and nudging. Unlike typical language learning, you as the teacher, are in charge of the learning material and you get insights and summaries of the learners' progressions. The first version of Edumo only contains basic functionality, but is intended in later versions to assists in creating learning material through automation, AI and sharing. With Edumo, a learner can more easily find time for homework, 5-10 minutes can easily be done by just opening the app and clicking start. Many learners we have interviewed indicate that when using textbooks, LMSes, emails and/or shared drives it doesn't seem feasible to easily do 5-10 minutes and they end up doing the full homework in one sitting. The use of gamification and nudging tries to keep the learner motivated to continue practicing.
