Quick asset verifications
I am a week into our trial with Edvora Campus Asset and I am so happy we came across this platform. We use blackbaud as our SIS and that has always been the problem with device management tools, since it’s for independent schools and not as mainstream. Checking in and out is so easy on the app. Use their kiosk mode with three student workers each with an iPad. Student one scanned student id and laptop barcode, student two scanned charger and student three captured their initials. I like that I get notifications when a daily loaner is overdue or when a daily loaner goes off campus. Push notifications have been pretty solid. Our last platform had an app that was essentially a dashboard view of the website, it was slow and bulk verify had my techs spending more time troubleshooting and redoing the verification than actually verifying. I had one of my techs do a verification of assets in the building and we found about 13 devices we didn’t have inventoried previously. This one lets me close tickets, reassign, add photos, and move devices in seconds.
