I wish I had this many years ago when I was studying electronics engineering, it would have saved me tons of hours! Now that I am a hobbyist I use it all the time for my DIY projects….keep up bringing new features!

BJT ICON FOR 2N3904 DOESN’T EXIST IN APP!!!
THE PICTURE FOR THE BJT TRANSISTORS SHOWS A 2N3904 HOWEVER THAT COMPONENT IS MISSING, AS DOES MOST OF THE LOW NOISE GENERAL PURPOSE PARTS… WHY BOTHER SHOWING A TRANSISTOR AS THE VISUAL DESCRIPTION OF A TOOL IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO INCLUDE IT… PRETTY BUMMED SINCE MOST THE ELECTRICAL DESIGN I DO IS FOR AUDIO AND YOUR MISSING SOME KEY COMPONENTS.

Hello! There are several 3904 types in the BJT Transistor section which have similar characteristics as the 2N3904, but indeed - all of them are SMD types - not THT. I will add the 2N3904 in the next release of the App. Best, -tom

I paid for this app because I already had Electronic Toolbox Pro universal on my iPhone and iPad, and it is so useful. I would give it five stars. I thought an app for the iPad would be different, and optimized for the iPad, but it is exactly the same. I asked the developer if there were any differences, but a week has passed and I have received no response. I don’t mind paying for useful apps, but resent having to pay for one, just to find that it is exactly the same as one I already paid for and not get an answer from the developer.

Excellent quick reference tools!
This is slightly different than I thought it was going to be.
I’m a retired radio tech, who recently discovered “Mr. Carlson’s Lab” on youtube/Patreon.
It’s fun to dust off the knowledge, although I won’t be teching...just a fan now.
One of the first things I did was to go the rectifier section and go to full-wave bridge. I used the first values, and got a real surprise that the load resistor would have fried like bacon! So manipulating its value by an order of magnitude brought a satisfying result.
Very handy for pinout references, etc.

So farlooks good and worth the price to have so many functions in one app without ads!
One thing you could add is wiring for a On On On switch. These are common in both guitar and amplifier design, especially where off might have negative effects!

I bought it years ago. I don’t use it every day but when I need it’s just here. It has all I would ever need as a hobbyist. It’s a solid reference tool. The author updates it and not asks for money. I hate subscriptions for apps I rarely or sporadically use. Respect to the author for not going this route. So look no further - just get it and enjoy. Well deserved 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖

Wish I had this 40 years ago
Dating myself, I got into aerospace engineering at the same time the HP45 hit the scene. Goodbye slide rule (I still have two in a desk drawer). As great as a scientific calculator was, this app would also have greatly enhanced my work w-a-y back then. I am mostly on to other things in my last life, but still frequently find myself needing electronics info. I bought this several years ago, before I had an iPad, not noticing one as necessary. NOW, I have an iPad, which I use for remote controlling digital audio consoles (among other things), so can finally make use of this app.
I see that it is missing pin-outs for USB-C connectors, but expect that to be rectified soon.

I bought his app over 8 years ago and use it almost daily. Tons of great info and continual updates.

No option to go back to menu page to change selection?
Once I select resistors for example I am not able to go back and select capacitors or any other option. Only way to break out to start page is power cycle the iPad?
This problem is obviously some sort of screwup and needs to be fixed!

Super Useful
This is a very handy desktop reference for electrical/electronic design and development. There are many calculators, reference values, equations, and tutorials (I just used the Passive Cooling page, great! This is useful for the professional, student, and hobbyists.

Buy this App - Been using it for 2 years
I use this for work on Audio systems, frequency response, tone generation, filter analysis, RF measurements along with my HP RF Service monitor, antenna analyzer, etc.
I originally got the free version within-app ability to unlock features. That worked fine until I got a new iPad, same account etc.
I just purchased this Pro version, it doesn't require restoring options. For the price, and features, this is a "Must Have" program for those who use or are interested in Audio and RF analysis and design.

A very useful set of reference tools
Overall, this is a very useful set of EE references and utilities. The only suggested improvement I find is with the resistor divider tool, where it would be nice to set Vin and desired Vout and have it recommend possible resistor values to get closest to the goal.
Immensely useful
This is a must have app for general reference in the lab or shop. It's literally all at your fingertips. I cant recommend this highly enough.
