Disappointing
I really like CUE but this game was really disappointing especially considering literally every single card used ai art it would be better just to use online photos or hire an artist.
Potential but a long road ahead
I think that the core of this game is really cool which is. What I have two stars for, but everything else needs work. For gameplay cards reduce in size to a small box when you play them and I can’t really see what’s going on with my cards let alone my opponent, leaves me sort of feeling like I’m just focusing on everything on my side and ignoring opponent. I also had to say that the cards are so AI generated that it really takes you out of the games atmosphere. There’s some rlly cool card design potential here, but so art is so impersonal

Could be a good game, but uses Ai to generate art
The company that created it is a good one, but unfortunately they used clearly Ai generated images for all the card arts at the minimum, so not worth supporting if you are concerned with the lack of human creativity and over reliance on Ai. If they actually switch to real created content it would be a very interesting game.

Da nessuna parte viene specificato che tutta la grafica del gioco (inerente alle carte) sia fatta con IA, ma la cosa si nota subito, oltre a creare contrasto con quella sorta di grafica delle UI e dell’HUD che è simil cartoon (che in confronto all’IA sembra fatta da un bambino di 7 anni) è una cosa che fa capire che dietro questo gioco non ci sia un minimo di dedizione e da game dev disapprovo, perché a sto punto anche gli script e quant’altro son stati fatti con IA? Non lo sapremo mai, in ogni caso, peccato per le meccaniche, interessanti per questo tipo di gioco

Terrible game play. Seems fun, but the minute the tutorial was done, the game play gets very awkward. Now the cards don’t want to land on the board, time runs out, buy more stuff and it well work better.

Suprisingly solid gameplay mechanics, works well for quick mobile games, like due links and pokemon while still having some complexity, closer to snap maybe

The screenshots dont have one showing off the game in portrait mode like on a fake iphone for the render, I just assumed it could only be played in landscape flicking through the preview pictures, which im not interested in when it comes to phone games

Great Game, Needs Expansion
I really like how each “sub-archetype” has their own unique play-style and identity within their color archetype. That said, I really like experimenting with cross-archetype builds, and they’re really fun! However, I think that certain game mechanics (specifically mana gain and control) are either overpowered (in low casual) or worthless (in League and medium and high casual). While I understand that this is for the sake of not making stun too prevalent in-game it makes certain cards (I’m thinking of Fenrir) feel rather pointless in anything but the low tiers of gameplay. Additionally, I’d say the red faction, Grimbald, while it has some powerful cards (like the Rougarou) generally lags behind the others in terms of overall power, though that may just be my playstyle. On the whole, great game, and I’m really excited to see it expanded, both in further archetypes, as well as in expansions to older ones!

Why is my review not showing up!! Would like developer response. Was fun, but……
Took a bit to understand what I was doing but got into it quick. The lore from all of the different regions is very nice, art work is amazing. Like any other card game boosters and expansion packs kind of a mini lottery to get better cards. The main thumbs down I have is the recent difficulty spike. Casual is no where near casual as it plays like ranked and ranked is playing skynet. To be fairly good and high ranked you’ve gotta have exact builds to be remotely competitive with your “opponents”. As a casual player I went from placing tier 5/6 to not caring within a week. I’ll still log in daily but interest plummeted.
