Needs update
Best sounding 808 drum kit I’ve found so far. Been using it for years. However, when i have it loaded as AUv3 in bm3, it stops playing after I reopen bm3. Needs preset saving and a touch up on the features overall.

I have a few issues with this emulation that I can flag for others. These are concerning my use on an iPhone XR. There doesn’t seem to be a way to switch the same channel instruments. I can’t access the clave, maracas, or congas. They are in there as I’ve seen the switches on the iPad version. Seems silly. The drums don’t have the same controls. Notably no open hat decay. The third hi hat sound, from programming the open and closed hat together, doesn’t exist. Shame as the rest of it seems implemented so well.

Great design but problems
I have the 606, 808, 909, and Lm1 , really great apps, unfortunately the 808 does not connect properly with Cubasis 3 either directly via inter app audio or Audio Units, the app shows up in track creation but won’t record any sound. I tried with Audiobus also but an error message comes up, it may be as suggested by Audiobus that this app needs updated for iOS 14 and now 15.
Any ideas? Apart from that the app is really good and the others all work.

Really good
Sound good and easy to use. A really good way to try out a classic style drum machine without having to shell out £100+ for a modern recreation.
808 AUv3 As Advertised

This plugin runs beautifully as an AUv3 in my DAW - I am sequencing the drums via MIDI input (not via the inbuilt sequencer) and can’t fault the sound quality or the timing - in fact it’s running incredibly smoothly! I especially like the fine control popup for adjusting the knobs/parameters. Thanks for making this essential drum machine readily available in my iOS music production workflow :)

Lots of fun
Excellent emulator with many solid features including a more modern sequencer interface. If it could export or send midi, I’d use it heavily.
Nice 2 have AU support, but one issues...
Great app, very pleased to have an 808 as an AU. I’m having one issue with it in Cubasis though. When I open a song that I made using this app, it does not retain and of the pitch or decay or any other settings that i edited, they all return to the default settings. I also wish we could save kits to use again. It would also be nice if the decay could last longer, but my main issue is with it not remembering settings when reopening songs.

Fantastic!
I've had this app for a while now and it still remains fun and sounds great! The original interface implementation is spot on and the addition of the “quick pattern” function makes pattern adjustments a breeze. I would love to see AudioShare implementation, but that does not take away from what this app is designed to be - a great 808 emulation. Thank you!

Good to see this is now available as AUv3, works well in hosts like cubasis and nanostudio2. Also, can’t quibble at this price! Thanks.
