Great app! Easy to use for my 4 year old, and it has improved his vocab tremendously. Only suggestion is could you please let us know what the requirements are to achieve each trophy. We have completed all the levels, but need to achieve a few more trophies, and my 4 year old is really keen to get them all. Thanks

Need to update app! iTunes warning says!
When I opened this app in 2017, a message from iTunes pops up that states, "this app may slow down your iPad; app developer needs to update this app to make it function better..." Reading Eggs itself is a great product but this app needs updating!!
Took my money
I've already paid for upgrades a long time ago. Reopened and they want me to rebuy eggs I've already paid to unlock. Not nice.
Good as part of a few apps used together
The app is a good start as it focuses on teaching the most commonly used and basic words for early reading and beyond. As a stand alone app, your child might get bored soon but if you add it to a mix of others to keep things fresh it will be a great addition. We have many of the "Eggy" apps and find find them great as diversions and additions to the online Reading Eggs program. My 5yo son has been using all or most of these for six weeks and I'm astonished at his progress just as he nears the start of primary school. For a challenge to my 5yo, we had to turn the difficulty up high but that was the only way to keep his attention. I do agree with other comments on the reverse reward system; the sound and visual effects are so much more interesting when you lose so turn up the difficulty to focus the challenge elsewhere!

Another great 'Eggy' app
Witty and helpful with teaching sight words. Rewards are playful and useful to children who are learning to read.
Very disappointed
Very disappointing that Blake could present this with the amount of 'reverse' rewarding happening in the app. My 4 yo grandson does not progress as he enjoys the effect of touching all the incorrect eggs and things as they fly past. Would be much improved if the rewards came after the child has recognised all 10 words. This is just a waste of time.

App fails to load
Very poor form for a paid app. Would like to rate it zero and get my money back, and am not inclined to trust their other apps.

Great tool for kids starting school as they need to learn and know these words. My 5yo loves it. Learning comes naturally through play.

Downloaded this app for my daughter to use as she has been using the Reading Eggs website - really disappointed as app is frozen and just won't open! Looks like a waste of £1.99

It's okay.
It's just okay.
1. There's not a lot of variety in the game play. There are two games; catch the egg that matches the word, and spell the word.
2. It leaves the word you're trying to catch UP on the screen; it'd be better if the first five catches the word was there, but it disapears after a certain amount of time.
3. It takes TOO LONG to move on and get a reward! When you find the word ten times, it shouldn't KEEP GOING, that doesn't keep kids' attention...they get bored and drift off. Mine kept asking how many more he had to do. There should be a change of skill set at a successful spotting of 10; do another skill, then on. Looking for the same word 20 times? Boring. The rewards don't come soon enough.
4. A reward of more turns (spotty eggs, puzzle pieces) isn't a very good reward. Those should be used to unlock a new activity involving the same words. You can even do the same concept, different application: make the words hidden in a story page; you could even keep your same theme: find 10 instances of the word 'came' in the farm, in the barn, in the pasture, in the kitchen, etc. More variety, reinforcing the word but keeping it interesting.
This isn't BAD for $3.00, but there's not enough variety of play to make it through all 250 words, and that's a shame.

Program is faulty and will not work. Keeps flicking on the screen. Problem is with the program as no other app/program on my computer does this. Waste of money, can't use.
Bit boring
Haven't tried it on my son yet but I am bored already. Each word just went on for TOO long. The concept is good. They just need to shorten the number of words to be found down from 25 to 10 and perhaps have a few different ways/games to reinforce the same word. Kind of like what they do in the reading eggs program.
