About

EGK WarCom is a battlefield-grade offline mesh communication app engineered for the moments when infrastructure fails. Whether cellular towers are destroyed, internet is severed, or signals are jammed, EGK WarCom keeps your team connected using only the devices in your hands. Built on Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework, EGK WarCom weaves a self-healing peer-to-peer mesh network across Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct simultaneously. Every device acts as both a sender and a relay node, automatically forwarding messages deeper into the mesh — extending range far beyond a single Bluetooth hop with zero configuration required. There is no account to create. No server to reach. No login screen. The moment you launch, your device is assigned a unique military-style callsign and becomes an active node. Your identity persists across sessions, messages survive app restarts, and your queue transmits automatically the instant a peer comes back into range. DIRECT CHANNELS give you private one-to-one communication with any node. BROADCAST sends simultaneously to every unit on the mesh — critical for coordinating movements, issuing alerts, and relaying intelligence. Four priority levels — ROUTINE, URGENT, FLASH, and EMERGENCY — ensure critical transmissions are immediately recognizable under pressure. The MESH TOPOLOGY MAP renders your network live, showing every node, signal lines, and animated data packets travelling between peers in real time. The SITREP dashboard tracks messages sent, received, relayed, bytes transferred, peak peer count, and session uptime — giving commanders a precise picture of network health at a glance. All sessions are end-to-end encrypted by design. Zero location data collected. Zero personal information stored. No data ever leaves your local mesh. The offline queue caches every undelivered message to disk and flushes automatically on reconnect. Built for soldiers, combat journalists, disaster relief coordinators, search and rescue teams, emergency medical responders, and preppers — EGK WarCom runs on hardware you already carry. No external antennas. No specialist radios. Install on any iPhone and you are operational in under sixty seconds. No subscription. No cloud. No compromise. When the grid goes dark, EGK WarCom lights the mesh. Each device you add strengthens the mesh. Range scales with node density. More iPhones means deeper reach and a harder network to silence. Deploy more, communicate further. HOW TO CONNECT TWO DEVICES Getting two devices talking takes under 60 seconds: 1. INSTALL on both devices and launch EGK WarCom. Each device is automatically assigned a unique military callsign (e.g. BRAVO-03) — no registration needed. 2. TAP THE MESH TAB (antenna icon, second tab) on both devices. 3. TAP "START" on Device 1. The button turns red and the pulse rings begin animating — your node is now broadcasting and scanning. 4. TAP "START" on Device 2. Within seconds, both devices discover each other. The HANDSHAKING list shows the discovered node, and within moments it moves to CONNECTED with a green indicator. 5. ONCE CONNECTED, tap the "MSG" button next to the peer's callsign in the CONNECTED list. This creates a dedicated direct channel between the two devices. 6. SWITCH TO THE COMMS TAB (chat bubble icon, first tab). Your new channel appears at the top of the list. Tap it to open the chat and begin communicating. 7. TYPE YOUR MESSAGE and tap Send. Messages are delivered instantly over the mesh with end-to-end encryption. Select a priority level — ROUTINE, URGENT, FLASH, or EMERGENCY — before sending to flag critical communications. If either device moves out of range, outgoing messages are automatically cached in the PENDING QUEUE and delivered the moment the connection restores — no message is ever lost.
