Great but…
This is a fantastic game. Well done, free of glitches (except for a periodic clicking sound unrelated to the gameplay itself) and in general a pleasure to play.
But…. At some point after playing for a few weeks, I noticed an increasing number of adverse throws. Sure, you can get beat by the program with some regularity, but not this consistently and for the same reasons.
I have noticed that in an increasing number of games, I throw 1s and 2s, and the “adversary” gets regular sequences of excellent throws with repeats throws, often even four, and an almost perfect track of getting the perfect “exit throw” once the adversary’s pieces get there.
While losing is part of playing, when you get consistently bad throws, and the opponent gets perfect, nearly extraordinary sequences of throws, it stops being fun. I have stopped playing mid game a number of times recently because the regularity of the discrepancy of the throws is so obvious that it becomes impossible to win at all.
And again, this didn’t happen earlier, not even on the most difficult level. Now even the middle level is doing the same.
At this rate I will stop playing this, pull out my real wood Senet set and play against myself that way. Which would be a pity.

It’s an amazing and thrilling game that keeps you on the edge, you must use strategy and have patience. I love the sound effects and the music, this was the favorite game of King Tutankhamen and it’s also my favorite game as well.
Needs higher difficulty level
Great game, solid graphics and sound. My only complaint is the difficulty level. I think the hardest level is pharaoh but I now consistently beat it. I wish it had a level that understood the importance of fighting for certain positions or squares.
