No pictures

I get emails saying someone likes me and if I click on it, it goes to someone completely different and without photos making a lot of this a waste of time!

Horrible.

Im not someone who cares that much about appearance, I would still like to see people photos. From what I saw, you can’t view ANY photos without paying a damn premium, which is ridiculous. Bad app.

Not worth it

Unless you’re part of the 1%, for the large fee to subscribe you’ll just get a bunch of bots (unless you live in a very populated area maybe) Also canceling buggy and may require contacting them.

Broken & Lies

Charges way too much, has no real people, biggest waste of your money. And they say they charge $30, but it’s $60. Biggest scam!

Do not download app

This is one of the worst dating app I have ever used. I paid for the membership and I ran out of profiles to interact with in the first five minutes. I have had this app with the membership for about two weeks now and I haven’t gotten any new profiles to go through, likes or people viewing my profile. They have made it very difficult to request a refund and to delete profile.

No way

I’m not committing for anything more than month-to-month, when even the blurry pictures of matches aren’t attractive

Zero Customer service

I have been unable to access my account for almost a week due to “one time access codes” that either never get sent or never get received by my email. Eharmony has no direct help line. You must send emails. These emails either never get a reply or, once, a reply that just bounced back the instructions from the website.

It’s hard to find users in this app now.

Scam

At the time of subscription, they give you a discounted price for a 12 month plan. As a subscriber you think automatically that this service can be cancelled at any time. However, in the fine print of the terms and conditions they mention that once you subscribe you will have to pay for the 12 months and will also have to write an email to their customer service team to cancel the auto renewal. Even if you want to ask them to cancel the monthly payments in the first term, the customer service team pulls up the terms and conditions saying that is what we signed up for. On top of all this, there are not many profiles in Canada. DO NOT subscribe to this service. Total bunch of scamsters!!!!!!

Dreadful

Has to be the worst dating app I have tried , you can’t even search you local area without paying .

Made by Scammers, Run by Bots

Pay to see pictures, pay to adjust distance for matches. $30 a month, with no option to pay monthly. Oh, and notice how every review has a canned response? You will have better luck finding love in a dumpster full of raccoons than you will on this app.

Most expensive waste of time

All the guys don’t have pics and their profiles are super limited even after being asked many questions. The monthly option is payment terms not duration so they keep emptying you bank account. A complete waste of time

Buggy app

App just repeatedly tells me my ID is illegible. Cannot read my ID. Won’t let me verify with simply my face scan.

Expensive and useless

I am a 50+ busy professional woman. I met my ex through the good old Match.com and had a marriage that lasted for 13 years. After a three-year long break from relationships, I started to navigate the new world of mobile dating apps. After trying out the disappearing Match Group apps, I thought Eharmony would be different from the others because of the psychological theories behind it. I was too naive. Everyone was forced to subscribe at least half an year with a sum of over £250. It basically encourages everyone to stay longer to find the perfect match. However, most nice men seemed to be over one hundred miles away. You got recommendations of “perfect” matches frequently but was often disappointed by the silence after you expressed interests. After viewing so many profiles for four months, I am literally bored. Yes, Eharmony’s psychometric approach and high price policy did select a small pool of men with impressive profiles. However, they seemed to be unreachable. If you are looking for a men whom you can go out with, stay away from this app. I have paid the tuition fee and learned a lesson here.

I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone.

This app asks you a lot of questions to create your profile. Then you have to pay just to be shown a few people (not many—around 20). After that, you don’t see anyone else. Literally, the search screen has no options left. There’s nobody. It becomes completely blank.

By the way, when you’re about to pay, it says the subscription is discounted. But when you actually complete the payment, they charge you the full price without the discount. That’s false advertising. If anyone wants to file a class-action lawsuit, count me in!

I would strongly advise anyone considering eHarmony to carefully check their bank statements!!!

I cancelled my automatic renewal on the very same day I purchased my membership because I didn’t want to risk forgetting to cancel it six months later. I even contacted Customer Care and obtained written confirmation that my automatic renewal had been disabled.

Months later, I discovered that, in addition to the agreed instalment payments for my membership, I had also been charged AUD 62.90 every month for 10 months, totalling AUD 629.

I contacted Customer Support and provided my bank statements showing every single charge. Instead of addressing my complaint, they simply explained the instalment payments that I had never disputed and completely ignored the additional monthly charges I was asking about.

I have now had to send my bank statements again because they apparently did not review them the first time.

At the time of writing this review, this issue has still not been resolved. I am still waiting for an explanation of the additional charges and a refund.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.

Awful, expensive and a lack of users

Nobody is using this app. They make it incredibly difficult to delete the app. They market a 3 month sub for $50+ but it’s really 3 months for $50+ per month.
They say they have a high number of users and they don’t.
Total garbage.

Empty

Eharmony refuse to remove your profile when you leave. So it’s full of dead profiles. I found very few active people

Chernobyl

You might actually find more matches in Chernobyl than here. Every other dating app I have gotten matched with about 2-3 a week. Here not a peep in a month.
