Poor services
Pathetic services. I subscribed to get e-ppr for one month, just to check out either it’s working or not and for a trial. Bcs if it’s not working then buying annual plan or half yearly plan will be wastage. And this e-ppr prove me right with my experience. I can’t open and access e-paper and my 100/- rs got stolen by ppr plan. Thank god I didn’t choose any other plan.
Bengali and theirs stuffs are very poor. They know everything what should be fixed what not. It’s already written in app description while you install that, ‘bugs are fixed 2 months ago’. But they are literally big zero on execution.

AS BAD AS AN APPLICATION CAN BE. Shameful!
This is an indelible blot in the name of an application. If there’s an interesting article you want to read, suddenly an advertisement will materialise out of nowhere, and you can’t close it even after the 5 second bar, as the close button doesn’t work, at least not in the iPhone. So, you have to close it and relaunch, but then you’ll not find it the second time. Combine it with gross and blatant mistakes, obvious misspellings, pathetic kind of reporting and a tendency to lick the posterior of the powerful - and this application is BAD beyond imagination. Shameful for an application, coming from the stable of Benette Coleman & Company. I’d have liked to give it a (-5) if possible.

No extra facilities for gold subscribers. I have purchased for two years plan for Rs 499/-. But every time I have been asked for login. Remove advertising for subscribers.

Extremely biased reporting, they seem to be the mouthpiece of TMC government of West Bengal. Extremely poor news site, no standards at all.

Junk advertisement
I don’t know how can Apple allow app to AppStore that’s leading towards unsecured web links. The app is very poor quality. It just get publicity because it’s from Times of India. If you used translations services you can translate any English news to Bengali.
App is crashing when news link opens
App version 6.0.0 for iPhone has some bug issue. For the last couple of days, when I am tapping on individual news links, the App is crashing. Please look into this issue.

It is observed, most of the times app is being crashed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times this app. But problem persists so far.

Needs to improve the app
There are so many typos in every single day. I don’t know whether they even bother checking proofs of the app version before publish. The pictures and the videos many times go out of the screen. NOT a very user friendly app.

While playing video on larger iPhones the close (x) button doesn’t seem to work at all at the top right corner of the screen. I have to close the app and relaunch it just to get out of the video screen.

Ei Samay started with lots of expectations and excitement. It was having the potential to challenge Anandabazar. However during the course of time it’s reduced to a TMC mouthpiece. No neutrality at all. It’s heavily biased towards Didi. Editor Suman Chattopadhyay thought that Didi may save him but it was not the case. Neither Didi or Pranab da able to save him. It’s high time now for Times of India to revamp this newspaper and make it again a true challenger for ABP.

Since last few days this app is not working. I am unable to see any news. It is saying some internet related issue this problem is causing but I am unable to understand what is the cause, as all other apps are working fine using same internet connection.
