What's New in Elastic Player

1.1.0

Your phone is now a remote for your TV. TV REMOTE This app and Elastic Player on your TV now find each other over your home Wi-Fi. Open the Remote tab, pick your TV from the list, enter the code shown on the TV, and you are paired. No account, no cables, nothing to configure. • Full control - D-pad, OK and Back, play and pause, seek and volume • Type on your phone instead of the TV's on-screen keyboard. When the TV asks for text, your phone keyboard opens on its own • Send to TV - open any film or episode here and start it on the big screen • Now playing - see what the TV is showing and scrub through it from the sofa A SIMPLER WAY TO CONNECT Choosing a TV takes fewer steps. Your phone lists every TV it finds on the network and only asks for the pairing code once you have picked one, so you are never looking at a code field wondering where the code comes from. A TV you have paired before reconnects on its own the next time you open the app, and you can disconnect it whenever you want. Not seeing your TV? The Remote tab now tells you which TV platforms Elastic Player runs on, so you know what to install and where. Plus fixes and refinements throughout the app.
