Bugs that were quietly being weird The reaction bar on messages could balloon into a giant oval, like a speech bubble that got a little too excited. It's back to a tidy row. The share sheet for care notes could slide in underneath the bottom tab bar, hiding its own buttons like a menu tucked behind the counter. It sits fully on screen now, on iPhone and Android. Tapping a checkmark to choose who sees a care note took a beat to respond, like a light switch on a delay. The checkmarks answer instantly now. New stuff Apple Health sharing. Your loved one can choose to share a daily summary from their iPhone and Apple Watch with their caregivers: steps, exercise, stand hours, when they last moved, sleep, heart rate, and walking steadiness. Only daily totals are shared, only with caregivers, and only if your loved one turns it on. They can stop at any time, and stopping deletes what was shared. Sharing needs an iPhone; caregivers can view it on any phone. A new Health section in Care. Look back over the past week, 30 days, or 90 days, and tap any day to see the details. Ask to share. Caregivers can send a prompt to their loved one's iPhone asking them to share, and ask again the next day if it was missed. The choice is always theirs. Today's activity at a glance. The Today screen now shows when your loved one last moved, plus their steps and exercise so far. Tap it to open Health. Fall and heart alerts. When your loved one's Apple Watch records a fall, or flags a high heart rate, low heart rate, or irregular rhythm, caregivers get a notification. Each caregiver can turn these on or off under Notifications. The Health screen explains which Apple Watch settings need to be on, and how to add yourself as an emergency contact for the fastest help after a serious fall. Care notes can now hold up to 10 photos and 10 files each, and you can pick several photos at once. Health charts can be read aloud with VoiceOver.
