It was recommend by another electrician. I purchased it and became familiar with properly using it. However, I did a pipe fill comparison between the app and by the 2015 code book. The app was significantly wrong. However, there is some very useful information in the app. Use the app, but don't try to plan with it.

The pipe fill is actually bang on the 2015 CEC. You are expecting to see results matching Table 6 however the app uses the much more accurate Table 9 and 10. This technique allows for greater pipe fill and is much more accurate than the generalized Table 6 results. Trying to like the app but every times that there is un update all data it's lost, that is on the panelboards or transformers calculations.
Because of that give 2 stars, for the rest like I said before I'm really trying to use it and get to like it but it's hard to start all over again.

I love the way this app is laid out. Im an electrician who runs smaller jobs but also works on very large construction sites. This app is so handy that it's hard to not use it! I check my code book for some things but when it comes to everyday pipe fill, allowable ampacity, motor ratings and a host of other calculations, nothing beats this app. I had a couple similar apps but this is the best designed and most straight forward app.
