Costs £50 and then doesn’t work
Most of the time when I use electroad, it charges me a £50 deposit and fails to communicate with my car. Then I go into the app, tap “support”, and nothing loads, despite having a working internet connection.

Great network for East Anglia
The ElectRoad network of chargers all have contactless payment option. Pre-authorisation is standard practice for fuel, quickly returned on completion of charge. Great network for anyone in East Anglia. App shows all sites and works nicely.
£50 preauthorisation fee?!
So what if it's refunded after the session? How rich do you think EV owners are?! Not everyone has a spare £50 just laying around in their account. So I therefore cannot use your chargers at all - what a con.
