It’s good but…

It’s really good but I have to pay to see a picture of the actual element.

A few tweaks required...

I am a HS chemistry teacher and I love this app... HOWEVER the background color for the metaloids make it VERY hard to read the text! Darken this bad boy up and its a five star app for sure!

Beautiful but a subscription

the app itself had a beautiful and fluid design, very iOS-inspired. But locking away every decent feature behind a decently hefty *subscription* is just annoying. at least offer one time purchases somewhere 🤷

Response from developer

Hi TrentMorr, thanks for the feedback! You can unlock specific features, as needed, with a one-time / lifetime purchase and no need for a subscription. Just open up the ION page and choose the feature(s) you'd like to purchase including Bohr Models, Advanced Tools, Export Data, and Visuals. The ION subscription is designed with students -- who may only be interested in just one or two semesters of access -- in mind. I understand subscriptions aren't for everyone, so lifetime access to features will continue being offered. I hope you'll consider coming back to Elementium! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at hello@samspencer.art. Cheers, Sam

Brilliant for my chemistry and Physics class!

Really love this app for studying

Best periodic table app!

I’ve never had an app as informative as this! You don’t need the subscription really unless you’re taking a class. But the subscription to all the Bohr models is fantastic, highly recommend to students!

Pretty Good

A lot of information, not the best setup

Response from developer

Elementium Review

I love how you can learn so much about an element like if an element is radioactive, and you can get a list of EVERY SINGLE ELEMENT in ALPHABETICAL ORDER which could be very useful! You can also get links to pages of an element in chemistry websites (including Wikipedia), the app is just SO USEFUL!

decent

wish there was more info & a bunch of things are locked behind paywall 🤷‍♀️

Response from developer

Hi there! Thanks for your review! I’d love to hear what kind of information you’re looking for, and what I could add to the app to make it more helpful for you? If you’re interested, there is a free trial available for ION so you can see if the premium features meet your needs. Feel free to send me an email at hello@samspencer.art — I’d love to hear from you. Cheers, Sam

Good, clean, beautiful, indie, quintessential iOS development

Great app.

I am a layperson with only high school education. I get curious sometimes and turn to Elementium to satisfy that. So much of this content is over my head. But the in app links to Wikipedia is pretty cool. It has definitely paid off while yelling out responses at the TV during Jeopardy!

When is V.1.7?

By far one of my favorite apps I’ve used for my school work! I don’t think I would have passed without it.

Thank you so much, this is so sweet! I’m so happy to hear Elementium has made your semester even just a little easier — we all need it right now. Best of luck on your studies! If there’s anything you’d like to see changed or added to the app, feel free to reach out to me at hello@samspencer.art

Was Five Stars, Then ...

After the latest update, the app began throwing ads. That's instant deletion as far as I'm concerned. It's gone.

Update: What comes up when the app starts for the first time is an ad for an in-app purchase. It takes over the screen in an irritating fashion, and it is not obvious how to get rid of it. There does not seem to be any further aggravation, but time will tell.

Other than that, it's a great app.

Elementium has no ads. It never has. It never will. That's a promise. This is an education app and resource for students, teachers, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. One of my highest priorities is providing a safe, privacy-focused, and positive learning experience for everyone. That's why there aren't any ads at all. Ever. I'm so sorry you had a negative experience and I'd love to hear more about it from you. Please send me an email at hello[at]samspencer.art. I hope to hear from you, and hope you'll give Elementium another chance!

very good

is better if purchased the photos

Thank you so much for your feedback! Please feel free to reach out to me (in the app tap Guide, then Send Feedback) if there’s anything else you’d like to see added or if you have any questions / comments / concerns!

Great app...

I enjoy learning and teaching with this app. There’s been quite a few awesome upgrades but as a early adapter I’m bummed it’s a subscription model at least for someone who stuck with it... 👎

Anyway enjoy.

Response from developer

Hi there! I’m so happy to hear you enjoy teaching and learning with Elementium — that makes all of this worth it :)! I understand that most people aren’t interested in the subscription model, which is why all of the same features and add-ons are also available for a one-time purchase (including continued updates). The impetus behind offering a subscription was mostly for students who only need access to extra content or features for a semester or two. I’ve got a lot more in the works and hope you’ll stick with Elementium (at least for a few more months). If there’s anything specific you’d like to see added or changed I would be more than happy to hear from you; send me an email at hello@samspencer.art

iPhone version vs iPad version

Belle application simple et complète pour une utilisation quotidienne. Par contre, la version iPhone n’est pas très pratique puisque les masses molaires ne sont pas visible même dans une orientation paysage. Dommage.

Best app for Chemistry

I used this to study and memorise the periodic table and it was super helpful

Hey Louisamick! Thank you so much for your feedback - I am so happy to hear Elementium is helping you with your studies. Best wishes and keep up the hard work!

Best Chemistry App

This is my first review and I thought it is worth doing it on this Amazing App. First off, this app is so user friendly and my experience with it has been great. Elementium is a must have for any Chemistry Lover. Second, this app actually cites its sources in a visible place so that if you are confused with any material covered in the app, their sources are right there at your disposal. Third of all, This App has no in-app purchases and no premium version or anything like that. Elementium is a 100 percent free app. That is what makes it so lovable. All in all, Elementium is the perfect app and is one of my favorites.
