Hi TrentMorr, thanks for the feedback! You can unlock specific features, as needed, with a one-time / lifetime purchase and no need for a subscription. Just open up the ION page and choose the feature(s) you'd like to purchase including Bohr Models, Advanced Tools, Export Data, and Visuals. The ION subscription is designed with students -- who may only be interested in just one or two semesters of access -- in mind. I understand subscriptions aren't for everyone, so lifetime access to features will continue being offered. I hope you'll consider coming back to Elementium! Was Five Stars, Then ...
Update: What comes up when the app starts for the first time is an ad for an in-app purchase. It takes over the screen in an irritating fashion, and it is not obvious how to get rid of it. There does not seem to be any further aggravation, but time will tell.
Other than that, it's a great app.

Hi there! I’m so happy to hear you enjoy teaching and learning with Elementium — that makes all of this worth it :)! I understand that most people aren’t interested in the subscription model, which is why all of the same features and add-ons are also available for a one-time purchase (including continued updates). The impetus behind offering a subscription was mostly for students who only need access to extra content or features for a semester or two. I’ve got a lot more in the works and hope you’ll stick with Elementium (at least for a few more months).
