About
Elements turns the periodic table into short quiz rounds you can finish in a couple of minutes — on the bus, between classes, or the night before an exam.
Ten questions per round. Every answer is shown immediately, and anything you miss goes to your review list so you drill the elements you actually get wrong instead of the ones you already know.
FOUR WAYS TO PRACTISE
- Symbol to name: see Fe, pick Iron
- Name to symbol: see Iron, pick Fe
- Atomic number: which element is number 26?
- Element groups: metal, halogen or noble gas?
THREE DIFFICULTY RANGES
Start with the first 20 elements, move up to 36, then take on all 118.
THE WHOLE TABLE
Tap any element to see its atomic number, period, group and category. Categories are colour coded, so the shape of the table makes sense at a glance.
WORKS ANYWHERE
No account, no sign-up, no internet. The app makes no network requests at all, so it works in airplane mode and in an exam room. Your best score and your missed elements stay on your device — the App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected" because nothing is collected.
FREE AND PAID
The free version covers the first 20 elements in symbol-to-name mode, plus the full table and mistake review. One payment unlocks all 118 elements and all four quiz modes. No subscription, ever.
Built for students, teachers and anyone who wants the table in their head rather than on a poster.
