Funktioniert sehr gut. Muss man nur nummer eingeben.
Some points that all charging apps should consider
- Show prices even if the user is not logged on. You want to get new customers? Show them what you have!
- No Apple Pay or at least PayPal. Credit Cards with their additional confirmations have become one of the most cumbersome ways to pay online, especially for first time users and occasional users (vacation).
- Don’t ask for more data than you need. Why do you even need my name, as long as I don’t want a proper bill? My phone number, seriously?
This means three stars down. I haven’t tried to charge yet, but onboarding was already less enjoyable than it could have been.

Charging not possible
Charging session cannot be initiated due to error messages in App. Reason (at least what I think) is that app cannot handle credit cards which require payment authorization via an app, which unfortunately all three credit card providers we have need. Tried with multiple chargers. Chargers seemed fine so it’s an app problem

Dont use App Website is better
The app do not work, helpdesk is friendly but can not help.
Added 3 times my Credit card all fine but during start process it blocks the card.

Registrierung funktioniert nicht. Immer kommt die Meldung, dass der Account noch nicht registriert ist obwohl der Bestätigungslink angeklickt wurde. Auch wird ein automatisch generiertes Passwort während des Registrierungsvorgangs nicht in Passwörter gespeichert.
Funktioniert tadellos
Es hat alles völlig problemlos funktioniert. Mit Glück, kostenloses Parken inklusive.
All app labels show developer names or Croatian labels
I downloaded the app and tried to create an account. First, developer names appear across the app in the user interface. Second, without using a translation app I wasn’t able to understand the basic labels for registration. Eventually I registered and hope to be able to revise my rating for these basic UI mistakes when I will charge my car.

Funktioniert für mich gut
Ich habe die Elen App geladen und mich registriert, um in Kroatien Ladesäulen der HEP Opskrba nutzen zu können. Das hat sehr gut geklappt. Ja, die Bedienung ist weniger intuitiv als man das vielleicht von anderen Ladeapps kennt, aber wer bis drei zählen und lesen kann (englisch), der bekommt das hin. Dafür kann man dann für erfreulich 29 Cent/kwh laden (bis 22kw, DC ist teurer), an manchen Säulen sogar kostenlos. Es werden zunächst 33 (oder mehr) Euro auf der KK reserviert, je nach Ladesäule. Die tatsächliche Abbuchung der geladenen Energie erfolgt wenige Tage später, begleitet durch eine ordentliche Rechnung per e-mail. Ein Problem gibt es mit Kreditkarten, deren Umsätze man per App freigeben muss. Den Prozess kann die Elen App nicht abbilden und läuft in einen Fehler. Verified by Visa funktioniert aber.
Noch ein Nachtrag zum Troubleshooting. Heute wurde bei mir kein QR Code gelesen und ich konnte auch manuell keinen Ladevorgang initiieren. App Neustart brachte nichts, aber App löschen, neu installieren und anmelden hat geholfen.

Eine gute Ergänzung zu BMW Charging. Preise sehr o.k. Bis jetzt funktioniert alles sehr gut.

App does not let you press the ‘submit’ button to pre authorize payment… so can’t start a charge.

in april 2022 I have been on a road trip with my EV in croatia. I have charged my car at several locations, and I could always enable the charger with the app. The app does what it should do - very good.
Several charge session have been free of charge, so simply enable the charge with the app.
Out of sudden the payment with visa secure failed, the second device for the confirmation was not spawned. It was out of the service time of my bank, so I called the elen service.
The very helpful service enabled “emergency charging” for me so that I would not get lost, and gave me some tipps regarding the visa secure. Very good and helpful service, I can really recommend elen!
