Missing search
Elevato is a promising new elevation ID app that is missing a key feature of mapping apps: Search.
Users can only find the elevation of a location on a map by manually click scroll and zoom around on the world map. There is no location search.
Further, the “favourites” is only for locations physically visited and not for a far away location discovered on the map.
Map apps by Apple and Google alike are missing elevation data. My hope was that the Elevato.app was the solution to my needs: identifying the elevation of a location that I search. Maybe in a future update?

Thank you for the review. The idea is exactly to bring basic elevation data to every person on the planet easily accessible, we are still falling short in that goal. There are plenty of ideas for the next steps. Nice to hear that search is wanted and we already noticed the same problem ourself. You can follow the blog for upcoming features.
