I've had this app for probably 4 years now. I usually dont even use it with kids. It's a funny conversational app to ask them what a unicorn sounds like... Also if you hook it up to a car and blast the stereo, people on the streets get a kick out of the monkey and dolphin noises.
Needs an Update
I love having this app for anytime I'm playing with a niece or nephew but the app hasn't been updated for the new iPhone so the pictures are pixelated (not that the kids notice).

I've had this and most of the other Elias smiles apps for my baby starting at 4 months old (she's now 10 months). she LOVES this app and will always smile when it comes on.
HOWEVER, as other reviewers have stated, she often accidentally presses the Info icon at the bottom right of the screen which clicks out of the app.
is there any way to just have a title page with a START button and an OPTIONS button? other baby apps have that feature and it is great with babies just learning fine motor control, so they don't accidentally press any wrong buttons...

My one year old LOVES this app!
Keeps me entertained as well :-)
Great!
My 2 year old son loves this App. If he ever sees my iPod Touch, he says "Daddy, Monkeys?" He calls it monkeys... but loves all the animals and the sounds they make. It usually grabs his attention for a long time and was easy enough for him to flip through and touch for each animal to make a sound. Great illustrations, would definitely recommend!

My boy loves it!
He smiles everytime he hits the monkey! He loves sliding through the pics and the sound it makes.
Though he always manages to press the small info button that sends him to the options page. Aside from that, it keeps him entertained

This is a fabulous app - my 11 month old absolutely loves it, and my 3 yr old thinks it's fun too. Can't believe it's free! Thank you for making such a cute program!
Great app
i really love it. its exactly what an iphone app should look like: simple, elegant and beautiful. my kid loves it.
Difficult for kids to tell animals apart
The drawings are too similar to each other (owl looks like a cat's head). Difficult for toddlers to tell apart (at least mine). They also confuse the imaginary and the real animals together (unicorn/horses).

My 3mo seems mesmerized by the moving pictures and sounds. I'm sure he'll love it more when he's at the right learning age.

My 2yo loves this game. I just wish they would replace the unicorn for a REAL animal. We also have Elias ABC. Looking forward to more games from you!

Great app for toddlers
My 18 month old loves this app. I just wish there were more animals!

Great graphics. Some strange animals though. But they capture my son's attention every time.
Love it with one revision ....
My 21-month old loves this, but it would be even better if the "scrolling" feature was limited to one part of the screen (i.e. the bottom third screen maybe). He often touches the screen to make the animal noise, but ends up scrolling instead. The same is true of the eliasABC app, which he also loves.
