Unnecessarily complicated
This feels more like an android app than an iOS app. You can tell things have been translated roughly from Chinese to English without much care - lots of prompts don’t make sense and labels for commands. Do not make sense either. They say you can leave a voicemail on their telephone number and they’ll support and call you back for questions but they text you and tell you to email them and then they never respond. I regret buying their hardware device, but it came with two years of service so I’m stuck with it.

Great hardware, the app needs work
I love my STC-1000WiFi TH BUT the app needs work:
There is no option to use google, yahoo, I cloud to log on
The password policy is extremely weak
The hardware is able to measure well over 100 degrees F but the charts only show 100
Power consumption option doesn’t work
It would be nice if it had a schedule in/off option in addition to temperature triggers and an intermittent on/off option to prevent fans from overheating in hot environments
I’m impressed with the device’s capabilities but the app could do so much more

Impossible to connect device to WiFi
Stc1000h WiFi do not connect with WiFi, no matter what. Tried different approaches, but couldn’t make it work
Won’t connect to WiFi
Repeated attempts to connect to WiFi fail. Tried with 3 different phones but still no good.

Wifi not working -useless
Attempted for 15 minutes to connect the app to the unit over wifi using the poorly written documentation. No success. This unit is going be returned.
Fails to configure WiFi in Smartlink mode
This Elitech iCold app failed to configure our test sample of an RCW-360Plus-WiFi for monitoring ULT freezers at our lab. The App and monitor failed to enable the device to join our IOT WiFi, trying multiple times with my iPhone and iPad. The App then suggests we use an Android instead. WTH ? So it seems Elitech knows their software has bugs they have not addressed. I was hoping this product might be a solution to monitor our biological sample freezers, but apparently this App is not ready for use, and by extension the RCW-360Plus-WiFi is also not really useable for what it’s being sold as.

Would like to use it but
Very bad translation in French. Unable to switch language. Lot of field and messages are in Chinese and not translated. Cannot event create an account as the checkbox to accept term of service is out of the screen. I need this app to use the Bluetooth function of my thermometer but it’s not really usable

Poor
Will not connect to my wifi and the humidifying element will not work in the work 2 outlet. Watched the YouTube videos, read the user manual numerous times now. Unfortunately, I’m settling with what I have gotten to work on it for right now.

If you use it properly and follow instructions, everything will work as intended.
WiFi Bug
At 23:59 on December 30th, all Elitech WiFi devices lost connectivity to network and the app. Despite power cycling the controllers, issue continues. The app and controller is good and if it wasn’t for this bug, I would have given it 5 stars. I have 20+ other devices on the same WiFi network which continue to work flawlessly.

Product works great but the app is giving me one critical issue
Thank you to the developers and engineer at elitech. Their products are hands down the best for the price and performance. My humidity and temperature controller works exactly as intended and the app even let's you set parameters which is great! However I am not able to record or see any data logging history which is a huge reason I want to use the app. Please fix this and I will update my review

It no longer works so ZERO stars
The app was broken in the v61 update and is still not fixed. Impossible to retrieve data so monitors are now useless.

How do you switch it to Fahrenheit? When I open the app, the main screen shows Celsius. Why isn’t there an option to switch? I figure this would be a simple basic feature. This app is trash!

Was working perfectly 5/5, but since last update the detailed settings page for stc1000 disappeared :( Please fix this 🙏🏼

Completely useless now
I wanted to change Temp and Humidity Settings, but this function was removed and now i can‘t change it anymore. So its completely useless now.
Faulty Update
They pushed out an update that eliminated the ability to adjust user parameters. Now the app is worthless. Fix it!!
