Love the Magazine - needs app options
I love the magazine, as I did when I read it in print. Would like more functionality - such as to darken page & lighten print or resize print etc.
Just a replica
Not sure what the exciting new “article reader” is supposed to be as this is just a replica. See the superior Readly for an actual format you can read on your phone.

Love having EQ & AH on my phone and can read anytime, and it’s cheaper than the paper back
Frauds - required registration not stated up front
They don’t tell you until AFTER you buy issues of this magazine that you need to register for an account with them to read the things you already purchased. That is fraudulent to me. I’m requesting a refund through the App Store.
Also, they say a subscription of 6 issues for $35.99 is 83% off the regular price, but individual issues cost $3.99. Do the math.
Either these people are incompetent or fraudulent. You decide.
I used to love reading the print version of this magazine. Now I won’t even buy that because the company is so sketchy with their digital version.
Very sad.

Great way to read the world's best mystery magazine
The app is as close to reading the print magazine as you can get. Great value for those, like me, who live outside the US.
Great stories
I been a fan of these stories for some time, there will always be many stories to hold your attention. You can buy one to try or sign up for a year. It is worth it. Enjoy.
No backward compatibility
Despite making the app completely unusable now on my old iPad, you continue to bill me for a subscription that I can't read. What moron of a product manager made that 'business' decision? Never mind. I'll take my business elsewhere. If I could give you a negative number of stars, I would.

Not free; $3.99 per issue. Possibly 4 stars, but subtracted 2 for being misleading.
Works well, good customer service
I downloaded both the EQMM and AHMM apps and was surprised how well they work. The apps are free but you can buy single issues or subscriptions in-app. I've done both. Buying single issues was easy but then one of the AHMM issues didn't seem to download properly. I wrote customer service on a Saturday and by Sunday night they had corrected the issue. Totally impressed.
Reading is nice and the colors of the covers are amazing. I'll probably subscribe to other magazines as well via Magzster if it holds up.
You have an option of buying issues via a separate account with Magzter, the app's developer, or just through your existing iTunes account. I chose the latter, because who needs another account?
The single issue price is $3.99, a dollar off the newsstand price.
