User reviews

3 cheers for Elmer

Great app, love the story. I can really see how it can encourage reading amount very young children.

Good all rounder

This app is visually very appealing to its target audience. It is easy and straightforward to use for adults but I wish the developers would consider a review of the 'swipe to turn page' function - a button would be much simpler and would mean children wouldn't miss out pages.

Perfect

This is just what I needed for my preschool speech students! I love that I can read it aloud myself to pace the book for each child and emphasize words and phonemes I'm teaching. Lovely pictures, sweet sound effects, universal message. Who could ask for more?

Interactive reading and bedtime

What a great idea...! Can't wait for my son to start reading with this which he will surely enjoy and find entertaining and educational at the same time!

Beautiful book

I purchased this Elmer book for my 3 year old and he has been transfixed with it. I love the way the pages come in from all angles, it is beautifully illustrated and read and the story itself is timeless. Have to confess I liked it so much I found myself flipping through it in a rare moment of quiet on my own it was that good.
Worth every penny - a really good quality app.
