What's New in ELV8 Coach

1.0.7

October 20, 2026

What’s New in 1.0.7 On iPhone, assessments are easier to read: the title is centered, section chips scroll in one row with Notes and Goals, and video fields no longer show a blank notes box. Deleting an assessment photo or video asks "Are you sure you want to delete?" first, so a stray tap does not remove it. Assessment checkboxes and choice chips are larger on phone, so they are easier to tap. The bottom-left tab on a player profile no longer loops back into the same player. From the player's page, Home goes to player search. On other player screens, the person icon returns to that player's first screen. On iPhone, header back buttons no longer show truncated labels like "P...". They show a chevron only. Leaving chat and tapping Messages from Home (player search) opens the conversation list. It no longer jumps back into the last thread. Removing an assessment video now stays removed after save. Clearing the last clip stays cleared instead of coming back. Empty assessment fields show the last submitted value as a placeholder, and previous Yes/No or choice picks get a dashed outline, without filling the field in. Player cards show clearer plan status: days left, Caught up, or No plan. Player-note photos show in the note as soon as you take them, then save in the background. Pictures are shrunk before upload so saving and reopening is much faster. Notes stay on one page for title and photos. The page itself does not scroll; only the note text scrolls. Tap Write to open a full-screen writer. Done or Edit sits in the top header. Swipe a note in the list left to delete it. Adding a photo scrolls the row to the newest picture. Opening a note photo lets you swipe between the other photos on that note, and swipe down to close like the iOS Photos app. Typing in a note no longer drops the latest words when autosave runs, or when you tap Done. Player-note photos show a red X in edit mode so you can delete them without pressing and holding. A confirmation asks if you are sure. Fitness grip strength shows the men/women norms chart again, including on assessments created before reference materials existed. Tap the info icon beside the field to open it full screen, then switch Men/Women. Scroll to see every age band through 80-90. Other workbook fields can show notes or a full-screen chart image the same way. Slow-motion swings record at 1080p (120 or 240 frames per second) and upload as a short clip, so frame-by-frame review stays sharp and the video opens faster. A slow-motion clip plays back in slow motion in messages, notes, and assessments. Coaches stay signed in after the iPad sleeps or the app is closed. A brief loss of network no longer signs you out.
