Game is slow, old & crashes too often
This was fun after LOTR movies were released, but its old. It’s been resold at least 4 or 5x since it was released. They added a 6 city upgrade that helps, but the game crashes often (inc today). That isn’t as bad as how long it takes to do basic tasks (5-10 s, previously <1 s) like accessing the calendar or changing worlds. I’ve come in top 100 in cross world comps with just 2 rarely active ppl in our guild. Not hard for 2 inactive ppl to place in their own individual world guild comps - we do regularly, because not many play this game. It is old.

Great continued support for an old game
The Hobbit was one of the best games I’ve ever played. It saddened me when they lost the IP for it but made me smile when they said it wasn’t goodbye.
This game has always been full of negatively from the community. Don’t let that stop you from trying it. You’ll be glad you did.
Each and every time I’ve reached out with feedback I’ve been detailed, and constructive. I’ve not been silent with criticism either but I’ve always tried to remain respectful.
This game and the community will be something I will continue to cherish.
I just wish communication would be improved, it seems we get a once a week announcement, and sometimes it’s not for everyone, e.g classic seasons, home world season. I understand resources are tight because your portfolio is growing but, please don’t abandon us. We haven’t abandoned you. Sure some of us have taken breaks but that’s healthy for any community. This issue is nothing new though. We’ve always had communication issues especially with timely replies on hot topic issues such as game bugs etc.
I’ve also noticed in recent time that we get a lot of errors in game but no regular maintenance. Years ago we had it at least once a month. It really kept the bugs and glitches down. From an IT perspective, rebooting the server can help clear Cache and improve speed and performance. Maybe consider bringing them back. It’s a good way to add your monthly server updates on core infrastructure too.
The inclusion of the web store is something that I am impressed about. I’ll be honest. I’ve never until recently spent more than $20 on the game. But it’s because I was only 13/14 at the time of the original games release. Spending seems to be balanced but with the absence of communication, at times I feel like I’ve been seen as a money bag.
The exclusion of ads is one feature that absolutely stands out. This has to be the best feature beyond the core game. Enjoying the game is not disrupted or intruded by data scraping ads.
I appreciate each and every person that’s ever worked on this game. You truly have no idea how much it means to me. I kindly ask that you consume my feedback and reflect on changes that can improve my key thoughts.

Приятное время препровождения за ней! :) Но, к сожалению, с обновлением у меня перестали отображаться сундуки и названия почти всех предметов отображаются непонятно… какие-то цифры и набор букв вместо слов в названиях. Thieves
This game use to be great. Now it is constant glitches. Most recently we were given the wrong items in a tournament and compensation was basically a slap in the face. The compensation was 10% and or less of the correct items in return for issuing the wro g chests instead of just replacing all the wrong chest. Absolutely a joke the game should just be shut down if the game team doesn’t care about its customers.

This game used to be so fun 10 years ago. Now, customer service won’t even help you in any way - even if the game glitches on their behalf and you lose items in your inventory due to the glitches.
Game updates? Few and far between. Nothing has changed in years and with the new game ownership, I see this game not lasting another year in this App Store.

Trash game
Game just banned many players without a reason. Contacted support on my ban and was told I was banned because “alt accounts taking advantage during events” Game has always had alt accounts , 12 years in they decided to start banning them

Players beware. I’ve been playing this one since it started. New players have no chance. It’s a pay to play game. With that said if you plan to play and you get a new device and try and reload the game there customer service is horrible! They will do anything to prevent you from recovering your account. By the original name was The Hobbit.

Harassment
This game allows for people to constantly harass you. There is an ignore button but the person is still allowed to harass you and create multiple accounts so you can never play this without being bullied constantly. When this was under kabams care this game was amazing and they would never let this happen. Sad how downhill the game has gotten. I had to give it a star but it doesn’t even deserve that…

DECA nervt ständig mit Facebook Login, ich habe KEIN Facebook. Spiel nicht laden, reine Abzocke. Amateure, kein Event läuft ohne Probleme ab. Die Zeiten von Events werden nach Lust und Laune geändert. Sinnlose Events werden sogar an Weihnachten gemacht. Hauptsache Kohle wird verdient. Es ist an der Zeit den Laden dicht zu machen….

Years and years of playing this downhill game, it started great and has deteriorated into a very boring, long winded, going round in circles to get nowhere game! Star rating should include minus to give an accurate and fair score. I Keep playing to see if anything ever improves - for sure it won’t

Been so long since I played this game
I used to play this game when it was the Hobbit KOM. It was an amazing game back then. I was regent for a time of the best alliance on server Tinol 111!!! Met and married my wife because of this game. She gave me a beautiful daughter and we are still going strong and 10 years since we met. We were both here during the transition from Kabam to Gaia. I still have fond memories of this game even though I no longer play.

Still a pay-to-win casino game
Been playing this game off and on over the past ten years. There used to be a way for non-spending players to compete by using tokens (farmed from campaign bosses) to play in a premium chance system. Sadly, this was eliminated from the game mechanics and the greedy game developers turned to a casino system that involved wheel and tower mini games. Players gambled with tokens for these games and the best way to acquire these tokens was by spending loads of hard earned real money for “mithril.” Kabam (the first company that owned this game) started these spend-a-thon tournaments for all the alliances and they all turned into a wallet warrior free-for-all. It was the best and only way to earn real might, gear, and experience. Huge scam. Anyway, the best part of this game was being able to meet new people in these alliances and explaining strategy through line chat for every tournament. Sadly, the best players were usually the ones who spent the most or cheated by using 3rd party apps to obtain mithril or help win tournaments. Then there were the players who straight up hacked the game and were able to cause other players to “open” their cities and zero all their might. Both Kabam and Gaea couldn’t figure out how to stop these issues. Now Deca (the third company now) is now running a dead game because most of the players left due to the issues I just talked about. I log into the game from time to time but there is still the same casino system with the same “spend-a-thon” tournaments. I thank you for reading this far and highly suggest new players to stay away from this life leech of a game.
