18 year old app should be retired
I use Riversoft’s Elvis app to clock in and out for twice daily visits with my client and have done so for the past two years. Despite keeping my phone’s iOS consistently up to date, and checking for Elvis updates regularly, this app acts as though it is on its last legs. It times out during my four hour am visit each day. When I log out at the end of each am shift it correctly shows me my upcoming afternoon shift. However, when I begin to clock in at 1:30pm each afternoon it frequently no longer shows the afternoon shift. Instead it only displays the morning shift for that day. I have to enter a comment each day telling the office Elvis continues to act up. I don’t know how much it costs my agency to use this app. Regardless of the cost, any amount of money is not worth this exceedingly poor performance. After 18 years one would hope the developer would take Elvis down for a nice long update or a completely new Elvis. Instead we get the old, fat, fatigued version unable to perform its basic functions consistently.

Stuck on a patient
I took care of one patient this morning 4/27/26 everything good. Went in to next patient checked all my yes and no boxes patient signed I signed then went to depart and it would just throw me out of app. Tried it a couple more times. Then tried shutting my phone down and bringing back up and still the same thing. It’s now 20:10 and I went in to check it and still doing same thing. I have to work tomorrow morning. Hopefully it’s fixed by the time I have to be at work.

Needs more Functionality & fixes
It is a huge disadvantage that employees cannot see their time in and time out punches or their week to date hours for each timesheet. Employees should be able to see their weekly timesheet totals before payroll is submitted.
Also, when you are typing in notes for your tasks, you cannot see your text entered until you press the checkmark. This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

App keeps crashing
App crashes every time I try to depart, I’ve had to delete the app and re-download it twice to fix the issue
How hard would it be to add eye or fingerprint login?
Requiring a physically typed login with a full password every single time you use the app is insanity. We have the technology. Add fingerprint or eyeball verification. Or allow password save. I waste a stupid amount of time physically typing in a password every single time I need to access the app, which is 12 times a week.
Also the GPS functionality is too limiting. If I’m at the end of the driveway waiting for the child I watch to get off the bus, I can’t clock in. At the end of the driveway of the home to which I’m assigned.

ELVIS version 7.0.8 now has biometric login. Talk to your agency about moving the location pin for this client with a long driveway.
medical working Apps
Apps that serves working populations needs to be function. workers dont gave time to figure out why clock-ins and time sheets wont be available. tjat is just Bogus!!!

Not working?
As of this morning our nurses and aides have been unable to get passed the login screen. We’re receiving different error messages. Any suggestions beyond downloading and reinstalling?
Typically the app is very simple and easy to use. Most of our staff usually has no issues. We’ve been relying heavily on this app, so for it to stop working (especially over the weekend/outside of office hours) is a major inconvenience 😩 hoping it’s back working soon or we’ll be verifying paper notes for months!
