App lowers truck AC and radio when opened

When connected to a newer vehicle via Bluetooth the app switches to in call mode lowering the radio and A/C in the truck until you go back to your home screen and open the app again. Texas 100° heat has me cursing the developer who left this bug in there. Fix it please!
