Premium issue

With the premium mode now, I can’t even buy the chapters I want to get ahead. I have to subscribe/pay for premium first. It was way easier to pay for the chapters alone. Also the premium feature seems to apply to literally every manga they have. Like after one volume everything else is premium. There might be some things I missed that I haven’t listed but so far it was a good app until the premium feature.

Decent if you pay

It was good… but they just made it so that you need a subscription for literally everything on it… There are many other free apps… This one just isn’t worth 7 bucks a month

Poor tablet support, coin model

It’s inexplicably impossible to use the app in fullscreen on an iPad, and the coin thing is obnoxious and only serves to conceal the actual cost of what you’re buying.

It’s really good but sometimes there is some I don’t like. My favorite comic is
“My Sadistic Boyfriend”. It’s really the best! 😁

Ai slop garbage

Low quality, clearly rushed AI assisted translations and predatory freemium model. Manga fans deserve better.

An amazing manga app with some cult classics

Don’t listen to the naysayers, you can earn credits to unlock additional chapters and they have titles such as Excel Saga. The translations are well done without being annoyingly localized. Love the app and the harder to find manga titles you can find on here!

Not very good

I’m not going to lie… anything that’s good on here, I can already read for free in my local library. And the only place I have internet, is my local library so it’s the only place I can use this app. And if I did have internet on the go, there must be hundreds of websites offering all of these mangas and more at no cost. That makes the app useless. I could understand if it was like watch an ad, download a manga. And how do I even get those credit things to get the free stuff or anything else? As for the stuff that says “free” there’s nothing I would read. I don’t see any use for this app. And before getting it I thought it might be good. It’s really not.

I have found a great selection of different types among us from all different types of genres and I’m enjoying the app thoroughly

Predatory ratings

their age ratings are misleading for the American demographic. their “13+” rating has according to their website “suggestive themes or situations, brief nudity”.
It gets more explicit with the 16+ rating

How to make it better

You guys can add a delete button to remove story’s that you don’t want to read but accidently clicked on

Slow releases and lack of ownership

They are not caught up to the original language releases for a lot of works, so it’s going to take a while to get to simulpub if that’s what you’re hoping for.

There’s no assurance that you will be able to continue viewing anything you’ve purchased either due to license or end of service with emaqi, which makes it less ideal to invest in.

If this was a subscription based service, lack of permanence is fine, but paid chapters and volumes need better guarantees than what they have in place at the moment.

I love the fact that this app provides “missions” to give you coins and I especially love it that you don’t have to read the full chapter to get the coins just like a couple of pages! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Offer a subscription version… this coins for partial chapters stuff is abusive to fans.

Ridiculous how long you have to wait for free manga

Look this is technically the only app that has anjo which I was interested in. 23 hours to read 12-16 pages is just highway robbery. If you want to read anjo or really an other manga for free just use MangaDex. No ads, no wait, no bs. (The quality of the first couple of chapters suck for anjo but it gets better). Emaqi, you gave some a flicker of hope chewed right up and spat it back at my face. Try to learn more from the superior apps ways to read manga online.
