You join a room based on your current pub location. You can see who else is there and send a 'wave' to signal interest. If the interest is mutual, you match and can then find each other.
Is Ember free to use?

What age is Ember suitable for?
Ember is intended for users aged 18 and over. The app's content and focus on adult social interactions make it suitable for this age group.
Does Ember have ads?
No, Ember does not contain advertisements. The app is designed to provide an uninterrupted user experience focused on social interaction.
How often is Ember updated?
The latest version of Ember is 1.6.4, which was last updated on October 4, 2026. Updates typically include new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
Can I use Ember on my smartwatch?
Yes, Ember is supported on multiple devices, including the Apple Watch, iPhone, and iPad. This allows for flexible access to its social networking features.
What happens to my data after a day?
Your profile information is permanent, but your waves, matches, and who was in a specific room are wiped within a day of the room closing. This ensures a fresh start each night.
