Hi there, Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you didn’t have a great experience. We’d love to help clear up a few things, as it sounds like some features may not have been fully utilized. Our app can absolutely be used outdoors and independently. Many of our users set it up with a tripod and use the front facing camera for solo sessions. You can also switch between the front and rear cameras directly in the app depending on your setup. Regarding recording, the app is not always recording. In Hands-Free Mode, the app automatically captures and clips only the pitches, while in Manual Mode, you’re in full control of when recording starts and stops. We also offer downloadable example videos within the app that demonstrate ideal setup and pitch framing. These can make a big difference in getting the best results.
