What happened
Loved the app until last couple weeks and now it’s so unreliable, won’t log in with biometrics, when you try manually says authentication error. Please fix this.
IT issues
I have not been able to open the app for 2 days now. Causing some serious banking issues for me.
Best bank in town
We absolutely love Emblem, banking there has been a blessing since day one. They have helped with anything that we have needed throughout the years. I could not say anything bad about a single employee at the Centre branch . The only thing I wish is that they were open on Saturdays. But I have learned through the years just to try and take care of all banking on Friday if I can make it up there. I definitely give them a recommendation to anyone looking to get their first banking or switch from one they do not like.

This app is a life saver, I can handle all my banking transactions with the swipe of a finger.

11 Years with them
I love Emblem (former ATCU). I’ve been with them for 11 years. They have the lowest rates, work so well with you to make things smooth, and the app is great honestly. You can add other accounts to it to see all of your balances in one place and it is super easy to use.

Lately - the app doesn’t remember my user ID so now I have to put all the info in. Annoying. When Emblem took over - the bill pay tab is only visible after selecting an acct. Additionally the app before used a 4 digit passcode instead of having to type in a long password. Again - annoying. The app was fine as it was before. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.

Useless
Where do I start with this garbage account. They have the regular balance and available balance like every other bank and union would have. But with them it’s just for show.
You swipe tap or enter the pin for the card at 99% places the balance fails to update. It literally comes off the balance shows the updated available balance then seconds later the pending transaction disappears and your balance is back to what it was before the transaction took place.
then days later the transaction reappears and comes out the account.
The answer to this major issue from Albertville branch is to keep the receipts and track your balance that way.
The member representative at Gadsden branch was simply I don’t know what’s going on but it happens to everyone.

Excellent
The staff in Albertville are some of the nicest I have ever encountered in a financial institution.
Jennifer Willis the branch manager and her team was more than welcoming she opened my account and my partners account also my partners dad that same day.
She was polite professional and it will be a pleasure using Alabama teachers credit union (Emblem) for my everyday banking and more in the future.
Only criticism I have is no deposit taking ATMs in Albertville Gadsen or Boaz areas including other co-op ATMs they only take deposits for that union not Emblem but the shared branching is the best feature and the easy ability to send money to other members like my family.

This app is awesome
It’s so fast and efficient. It has so many features. I’ve linked all of my other debit accounts, credit cards, savings accounts, and my car loan and I can monitor all of them from here. It has free credit score monitoring. I haven’t seen what all features are available yet. This is definitely the best banking app I’ve used and I’ve had several online/app only accounts that were just bleh. So for this to just be one of the ways to access your ATCU accounts they are definitely doing something right.
