Remember Embr
Great device wish I had the new one it’s definitely a conversation starter for my friends that know I like tech and trying things out. I donate plasma a lot 8 times a month for the last 5 years and because of that I get cold easily. The Embr device helps me calm my heart rate as well as keep me warm after donating from the cold saline return . Big fan hope to see more things in the future clothes would be a great adventure.

Embr Wave is a lifesaver!
I couldn’t imagine life without my Embr wave. Gone are the nights I am chilled to the bone, even under covers. Gone are the days so hot, you can’t even breathe and you’re in a constant sweat. You see, I just set my Embr, and a few minutes later, my feet (which were icebergs)are toasty. Conversely, I’m able to cool down those daytime insufferable days by setting my Embr to my comfort zone. Easily paired with the app, you have the ability to personalize your temperature all day and night, or for the selected amount of time you choose. Run, don’t walk, you need an Embr!

Sync please
I love the wave 1 it’s amazing and works great but the app is refusing to sync I just bought it and it said it had been synced in 2021 but it won’t sync now even though it has paired with my iPhone

Continuing setting
Needs a continuous setting. I’m a hairstylist and I need it when I’m blow-drying. I have to keep turn it back on. It’s a bit awkward and obvious that I need it on .
Embr Waves
I just received mine and am already loving it!
Surprisingly relaxing.
I have been using this Embr wave for less than a day, and I like it very much. Even more than I imagined. A great relaxation occurs with both the cooling and warming wave. I am grateful , feeling in control of my personal temperature .
So far so good
My wonderful daughters got this for me for Christmas! I have MS and have both heat and cold intolerance. We currently live in Virginia and it’s winter, no snow, and it’s cold! The Embr wave heat is like holding a HOT cup of coffee...it just warms you all over 🥰 I’m anxious for warmer weather to arrive so I can see how the cooling part will work, as heat really zaps me and makes my symptoms worse. I will update my review this summer.

This is my replacement unit and helps me a lot to manage my relentless 🥵hot flashes. My newer Embrwave white square cracked and fell off. Fortunately, I was able to remove the same piece from my broken unit and snap it onto my replacement Embrwave!

Relaxing warming sensation
I really enjoy my Embr wave even more since I moved to Wyoming! The warming sensation from my Embr makes the cold more tolerable. I wear it at night snuggled under layers of blankets and it puts me right to sleep. On night mode it runs for 8 hours.
Doesn’t really work
I have dysautonomia and bought this in hopes it would help my constant hot flashes and irregular body temperatures. I’m always hot nor can I produce sweat and I just want to be able to go outside/sleep without overheating, but mine seems to shut itself off when I go outdoors or when I’m under the blanket. My regular body temperature is constantly in the 99-100s was hoping for some relief but instead I just wasted $300......

Too hot between waves
Would be better if you could adjust the base temperature. I find it far too hot between waves. I moved it down so the sides aren’t touching me (that felt like burning), but it’s still too hot to be comfortable.
Very expensive for a flaw like this. Feels like it could so easily be fixed by an option to adjust the base temp.
Other than this it’s great! But it’s borderline unusable for me like this, my heat intolerance is too sensitive.

Deceptive marketing practices
Embr will happily take your order and your money for holiday delivery...then change the delivery date to not meet the holiday. The product may or may not work, but they’re very deceptive about their marketing strategy.

Not for people with intense hot flashes.
I understand there isn’t a lot of technology out there to emit a cooling sensation but the embr waves cool setting isn’t anything revolutionary. The bracelet actually begins to overheat on the top when “cool” is used but continues to stay at starting temperature when the “heat” setting is used; the overheating sensation actually caused me to feel MORE warm because the devices warmth from overheating was actually more continuous and present than the devices “Cool” setting. The waves are also too far spaced apart to provide real relief for severe hot flashes. I find it to be much more efficient to run my wrist underneath cold water than to use my Embr Wave.
I try to use it everyday to see if daily use increases effectiveness but it tends to be more trouble than its worth. I REALLY hope they develop a “Cool” setting that’s genuinely cold and continuous in wave duration in the future. Great concept and great for heating up, but overall not that great for hot flashes.

Lifesaver!!
Not kidding. My daughter gave me this Embr Wave last year for Christmas and I wear it most of the time. I am unlucky in having gone back into menopausal symptoms after been thru 10 years of actual menopause. Day and night hot flashes with heavy sweating had been driving me crazy, waking me from sleep 2-4 times a night to change my nightgowns and pillow cases. No more since I received my Embr Wave. It really is a lifesaver for me. I don’t wake up at night and it cools me during the day. I’ve told friends about it and three of them purchased their own Embr Wave. Thank you, thank you to the engineers at MIT for inventing this wonderful product for us women who have suffered with hot flashes and swearing. It’s expensive but well worth it!

Saves me from the discomfort of bad temp regulation
I’ve been using my Embr bracelet over the past six months or so. I have very bad temp regulation due to multiple sclerosis and extra weight put on after being diagnosed in 2017. This bracelet makes a huge difference. A typical day is alternating between dripping in sweat or freezing. Now, I press the bar and get relief quickly. It either completely circumvents the problem or reduces the severity significantly. Thank you! This helps me get back a quality of life I’ve thought was gone since my temp problem is often so severe that I can’t function. Love, love my bracelet!

Amazing device
I was skeptical of this product, but determined to try it, as it promised to alleviate my extreme discomfort with even moderate changes in temperature.
I originally bought it to cool off on hot days. But to my surprise, I find myself using the heat option often. I get chills that used to require me to add two or three extra layers of clothing and then take them off after I warmed. What a bother. Now I just use this device and it distracts me long enough from the chill, without all the bother and extra laundry.
I don’t know how it works, but it does work for me.
