Did not have any issues with downloading. The app worked as expected.
Useless
Doesnt have key features, like ability to check grades. Literally useless, no reason to ever use this, even if you dont have access to a computer

Simply doesn’t work
I have never rated an app before, but this app is simply unusable. Like others have stated in their reviews “the app states it needs to update but then gets stuck in the downloading update screen”. It has been like this for at least a month now. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Deleting the app and redownloading it doesn’t work and still says an update is required and then gets stuck again. Even when it was working the user interface was horrible. The drop down menu would get stuck and block the screen requiring you to close and reopen the app. Being a 3rd year medical student I constantly need to have access to my calendar and I have had to resort to taking pictures of my calendar off of the desktop site since this just doesn’t work. Emedley in a whole including the desktop version is a cheap and inferior alternative to MUCH better options such as blackboard or canvas. It seems like they are purposefully trying to hide announcements and homework due dates so it is very easy to miss assignments or announcements. If your school switched to this program I’m very sorry.

This app barely works. Half the time you try to open it, it says an update is needed but then no matter how many times you try to download the update it doesn’t download it. Also often have to delete and redownload to log in or you get stuck. This is not a helpful app and it’s really annoying to use even when it does work, as it’s very glitchy and not user friendly.

Software is trash
App doesn’t work, and emedley is terrible. School tried to cut costs by switching but it’s been a nightmare for all.

Central Michigan College of Medicine switched from Canvas to this trash to save money. So sorry to anyone who gets stuck with this software because it truly is so terrible.
80% of the time, I can’t even get into the app because I get stuck in a log-in loop. The only way to solve it seems to be deleting the app and redownloading. I have to do this about every other time I use the app. Seriously.
Turns out getting stuck at the log-in screen is actually a mercy. Once you log in, you’ll be greeted by a clunky UI, calendar that hides half the events, document upload center that glitches when you scroll, menu problems that double the case logging time, poor document uploading interface, and a bunch of small things that aren’t worth listing but just make this service look bad.
On top of that, professors have been outspoken that the UI is difficult to use from their side as well.
Honestly, us reviewing this with much-deserved 1 stars won’t change anything though. Cheap schools will continue to purchase this and their students and professors will suffer the consequences as usual.
You’ll get stuck using this because your administration doesn’t care about you and eMedley has no incentive to actually become a quality platform.

App no longer works
Please fix this app so it’s usable. Some of us like to keep up with our classes from our mobile devices
Annoying
When I open the app it says I need to update to continue using. I click update now and then it says “downloading please wait” for hours. I left my phone sitting like this for hours and I came back and it says the same thing? I then deleted the app and redownloaded it hoping that would work. Nope. And when I attempt to login on safari it just takes me to the app, which won’t work.
I typically don’t leave reviews but this app is so annoying it’s necessary.

Worse app
Horrible, doesn’t work half the time.
This entire software is toilet water
App is trash, website is trash. No idea why anybody uses this.
Unreliable app
Complete waste of time, why make a mobile app if it can’t function correctly? Perpetually freezes on “downloading update, please wait…” screen practically every time you open the app. The user interface is trash and synchronization is wonky. I wish schools would just stop trying to push this down our throats and stick to Canvas, which rarely has issues.

Doesn’t work
This app continually reloads a login screen after already having logged in.
Unremarkable, but works fine
I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about. This app works fine. No issues so far. Granted, I only downloaded it 15 minutes ago so only time will tell. That being said, I won’t give it more than 4 stars because I’m not wowed by it. No frills really. Very bare-bones if I’m being honest. But then again I was never promised anything more than that. This will do just fine.

Terrible
This interface is horrible and not intuitive in the slightest. The app is incredibly buggy, crashes, freezes, and doesn’t save evaluations.
Doesn’t work
This app doesn’t work. When I login it just continues to make you login. Even when it shows my profile on the home screen still says please login after I’ve already logged in. Then it just boots me back to the main login screen.

Clicking on “details” in Snapshot doesn’t do anything. The button is unresponsive. Please fix this
