1.0 is a massive update that brings Emerald to a stable release while also adding features and improving existing ones. App Icon: - The App icon has been completely redesigned, now made entirely in Icon Composer with its own Liquid Glass layers. Spaces: - You can now change the color scheme of your Spaces, so you can decide if you want it light or dark! Access it in the Theme Editor. - The Theme Editor has been redesigned, with the gradient now taking up the full space of the view. - A new scrolling switch system has been added so you can switch Spaces faster and more seamlessly. - The iPhone Spaces UI has been redesigned to adapt to the new scroll system, moving the Space selector to the bottom and unifying it with iPad. - The Create New Space sheet has been redesigned, now showing all the steps in a more understandable way. Tabs: - The tab button has been completely redesigned! The button is now less rounded and follows the Space's color scheme rather than its own color, making it more efficient. - The Profile selection now uses the Space's Profile instead of the Tab's, which could sometimes be different. Web Content: - Web Content now uses the WebKit version tied to your system, so if you're running iOS 26.6, Emerald will use WebKit 26.6. - Web Content expands to all the edges of the device, while showing all overlays directly in the safe area, creating a better effect for the user. - Emerald Dark Reader has been added to Website Customization. Peek: - Peek is now on iOS! Peek is a popup that opens when a webpage tries to open a new tab, and you can close it or view it in fullscreen with just a tap, so your Tabbies don't end up being a mess. Recents: - Recents are now per Profile instead of universal. - Recents now show the device they were added on (iPhone, iPad, or Mac). - Refined the Recents-saving mechanism, now providing more precise save dates and image data. Onboarding: - Intro music has been added and the steps have been reduced so users can access Emerald faster. Gradients: - Emerald's own gradient is now animated and can be seen all across the app, in the onboarding, App State section, and more. Emerald Premium: - Emerald Premium is finally here! Premium is a service that unlocks features in Emerald that users love, such as Unlimited Spaces, AdBlock+, Website and Symbol Customization, and more. - Users can subscribe from the iOS app using the App Store for billing. Search Bar: - The Search Bar opens faster and handles suggestions more efficiently. - The new Recents system has also been added. - Space labels now show correctly if the icon is a symbol.
