We have used the Emerge app across several businesses for expense management and it works really well.
It is super quick and easy to issue new cards for permanent and casual crew as well as contractors. There are a lot of great settings like daily, weekly and lifetime spend limits for protection.
The customer support team is outstanding and goes above and beyond to help whenever required

Exceptionally Easy
I had my business bank account, tax savings account and investment account all set up and feeding into Xero instantly. Two weeks later and I’m still filling out paperwork and dealing with different departments in ANZ to try to get a business account opened. And I’ve been banking with them my whole life! Emerge’s technology, service and systems are next level. I’m an accountant and will be telling all my clients about them! And just wait until you receive the physical card…. Such cool packaging.

Trouble Free
Very impressive, specifically for businesses. It’s impressive how they use their windcave gateway and allow businesses to receive money instantly from customer to their account. I think they work with INZ as well, so that customers can do receive a check when doing direct debit. So far the best business bank account have, will be more impressive when they start giving the ability to issue and manage invoices, etc.

Absolutely loving Emerge and how easy it is to still have all of the authority and none of the weight of financial processing and approvals.
Good up and coming money management
Overall really great. Effecient app. Could still use a bit of work to get it up the level of the likes of BNZ. But like being able to switch between business and personal accounts really easily

Avoid if Startup
They don’t do international transfers so if you’re a startup doing work overseas then don’t use this app. And when you ask for help they just give you AI replies. I thought these guys were different from other banks, but they’re not! Would not recommend l!

Best personal banking app I’ve ever used!
Game changer!
We spent over a month trying to open a business bank account in a company name (with ANZ). Applied online, then a 3 week delay to get an appt. Resulted in an hour phone call which was basically the bank trying to sell every product they had. We just wanted a bank account. A week later an ID form sent to us (we had already sent through company docs and the director was an existing bank customer). So frustrating. Found this new banking service and set up within hours. Loving the QR code payment process too, it's sped up payment from our customers. Leave your traditional bank, this is great!

So easy to set up for business owners
I was a little dubious when my husband showed me this new banking platform as I was unsure if it was actually trustworthy enough to use for my new lowtox activewear business.
However after dealing with the customer service team and getting my account set up, it’s been so easy to use, I’ve been able to organize my accounts so fast and easily, without having to wait for ages like you do with the big banks.
And as a kiwi founder myself I believe in giving other kiwi businesses a shot, and if a new banking brand can take on the “big guys” then I figured it’s worth a shot. Great work team, I’m super impressed so far & look forward to growing together over the years.

I would highly recommend this app simple UI and virtual card and physical card link to a CHQ. You can even withdraw cash! compare to Dosh and Debut
