Also is there any way to permanently pin certain emojis because whenever I use enough emojis my actual favorite ones get pushed out. Thanks!

So Good! Underrated!
This app is criminally underrated on the App Store! It’s amazing to have a simple shortcut to open the selector. Then, selecting an emoji plops it right into whatever field you have active in any app. I have searched for a similar app on Linux and Windows; there is no competition. It’s incredibly handy when adding emojis to chat where there is no built-in emoji picker (like the :emoji: shortcut in Discord or Slack). Five stars all the way up!

Great app. I noticed it doesn't respect keyboard layout for ⌘C though.

No app is perfect, but this one deserves better than the review and score it's been receiving. If you're looking for an app to quickly access emojis from the OS level, this one does it and does it well... and free. Absolutely grab a copy.

That being said, my previous review was based partially on user errer and partially on a simple change that the developer, in my opinion, should make to avoid confusion.
That being said, I use this app at least 100x a day. It does everything I need it to and does it well. And it turns out, that when I reached out for help the developer was quick to respond and kind - which can be a rare thing even with paid apps no less an app that's free.

Please Help
I removed the keyboard shortcut because of a comflict. I had intended to only remove it temporarily. Since I have it set not to show up in the menubar and now I no longer have a keyboard shortcut, there's no way for me to access the app. Launching it direclty does not open any sort of window and since I can't get to the window I have no way to reassign a shortcut or return it to the menu bar. Uninstalling and re-installing did not help (I may have to clear out some setting files that remain in the AppData folder to regain access). Do you have a solution for this?

I am surprised seeing negative reviews on this app!! The complain I see is that the shortcut is not working there -- but you can reset the shortcut to your need!
However, I find it pretty useful for my purpose! It's very easy to install -- just like the other MAS apps. Initial shortcut is just as it has shown in the pictures. But you can change it to your likeness!
I love it ! And also recommend it!

Keyboard shortcut does not work, therfore the app does not work at all.
Great emoji app
Of several emoji search apps for the Mac, I like this one the most. Please add the ability to copy an emoji to clipboard or insert into the current selected text field when I double click on an emoji or even both at the same time. Maybe an option to choose between copy or insert on double click of the emoji or an option for both. I don't like having to copy the emoji with a keyboard shortcut. Most of the time I already have a field of text selected when I bring up the popup emoji menu.

Best 'side car' kayboard
iOS built in emoji search is the best but I can't live without Fleksy keyboard gestures. This is the perfect compromise so I can still easily search emojis and use Fleksy keybord

Please allow for custom keybindings
Please developers - you've got the most usable emoji app on MacOS right now but I can't use it beacuse of a keybinding conflict and the conflicted keybinding is more important to me than emojis. I'd change this to 5 stars if that was available. I particlarly want to use [fn .], [optn .], or [cmd .] like Windows

I really like the idea of this app, I just wanted another keyboard I could search emojis with I didn’t necessarily want another full on keyboard. Just wanna go into the emoji search and not go through menus to find the emoji I want. Some of the words I used didn’t result in the emoji I wanted but that can always improve, it has potential

Mostly great—except on iPads where it’s wonky
This emoji-finding keyboard app is mostly great! And if you have an iPhone, this may as well be a must have.
On the other hand, if you try to use this on an iPad, the keyboard’s keys end only partially filling the keyboard area of the screen.
If this had solid iPad support, this would easily be a 5-star app.
