Terrible app
Accidentally signed myself out, and ever since I keep getting a server error message and can’t login again. Considering how much their books cost, one would think they’d at least hire someone capable of making a useable app.

Easily the worst company I have ever purchased a text book from. If possible I would highly recommend purchasing any books one may need from any company aside this one.

impossible to use on a mobile device, doesn’t let you copy and paste text directly from the book, glitches frequently, very much not conducive to textbook learning. would not recommend.
App Continuously Crashes - iOS 16.2
The Emond app will not even open for me! I paid $150 for a book that is essentially vapourware. Steer clear of ANY Emond ebook because of the unreliability of their proprietary ebook app.
Save your money and buy a book used from a student!
Emond, if you are reading this review. Please fix your app. I’m running an IPhone 13 Pro Max on iOS 16.2 and have been unable to open your app for MONTHS. Completely unacceptable.

Terrible
Bought book on their website then it tells me to open in their reader. Download the app try to open the book in the app, but then it prompts me to open the book in the app…..when I’m already trying to open it IN THE APP. Fix your app or let people use legitimate PDF reader programs.
Student
IPad has white screen. I have to reinstall the app each time. Also does not offer split screen support or voice reader functions. Really quite dissatisfied considering the amount we pay as students.
Don’t buy books does not work
Will not download books. Continuously display error make sure you are connected to the internet when you try to download a book. Does not work. Save your money don’t buy their ebooks. Total scam
App crashes
This app used to work on my iPad. However, it doesn’t anymore. It crashes every time when I try to open it. Please fix it! I need to read my books!
Never actually loads books
Just sits at validating with server. Takes 10 minutes to even get that far. Terrible app

The only reason we even buy your books is because corrupted deans of our schools make us do. If an alternative was possible, we wish you go out of business soon and take your garbage app along with that. Thank you.

The app can’t even load books. They should just sell PDFs or something.
Just Buy Physical Copies of Your Books
This is such a poorly designed app, on top of the constant inability to access your books. Books will just load for hours, never allowing you to open them. Sometimes books will just disappear for a day or two. What you save in money you lose in time and stress. This company really ought to refund customers.

Unreliable
Buy hard copies of your textbooks. This app is extremely unreliable. Need to read a chapter before class? Jokes on you, the system is down. Need to write a report using the book. Jokes on you, the system is down again. You won’t get anything accomplished if you use this app.
Lacks features, needs updating
Highlighting does not work after updating to latest iPadOS. No way of contacting support or reporting bugs to developers. Last feature update was over one year ago despite multiple complaints about the clunky way of annotating. Annotating appears to be an afterthought which is really unfortunate.
Terrible App
This app is significantly less efficient than any other method of reading. Highlighting options are terrible and hardly work. No option to mark up pages with Apple Pencil. Chapter / table of contents layout is confusing, over complicated, and wastes your time. Overall, highlighting feature is garbage making textbooks a waste of money.

Unable to access purchases
I specifically purchased the ebook option for 3 texts in order to access the texts immediately. Unfortunately, every time I attempt to access the texts I am greeted by a white screen and the app crashes.
Now I am without the texts and short on change. Very dissatisfied with my purchase.
