Scam
Just terrible. A family member signed up and added me on the account so I put tons of photos and videos on there to free up storage on my phone and deleted them on my phone. The family member said she wasn’t going to continue with the subscription so I went to save them all back to my phone and there was no option for this!! I emailed them about it and they said they would work on a link for me to download my photos and videos. A year later and I still don’t have any of them. All those memories just lost. Seems like a scam to keep you paying for a subscription… otherwise you lose everything

Fab Idea
Emortal is a great way to store your memories and a record of your life’s most important memories for future generations. I used to use Facebook but gave up when I realised how much they were tracking me. This is a great app to use.

As a photographer and mum who loves to capture our family memories I have always worried if my digital images and videos will be around for my children to show their children. So the emortal app is just what I’d been looking for! It’s really easy to use and gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend

Great app!
After finding myself unable to remember a lot of important things (mainly the kids growing up) and having lost a lot of info from a broken laptop, this app has changed everything moving forward. Everything can be saved for the future, I wish it had been invented sooner. I particularly like the time capsule concept with the ability to send messages to future generations!

Very thought provoking.
Never considered the possibility of losing photos before. When I'm gone, i want my kids and their kid's, kids to be able to see and watch their great grandpa and learn from him. It's my digital legacy. this app makes all that possible. Also like that my photo's remain my photo's and not the property of social media companies...

I didn’t know about ‘bit rot’!!
I know I’ve lost ‘memories’ over the last 10 years - digital photos I know I took but just can’t find any more. And now I know about bit rot - which makes complete sense, if you think about it. So glad Emortal has launched this service! Every family should have it 🙏

About time someone came up with a way I can store and share my photos whilst retaining ownership, ensuring it’s legacy and without me worrying about my data being mined by commercial companies. So this is a really great service that I’m happy to pay for! All my photos protected forever for the price of a cup of coffee each month.
The app itself is easy to use, was quick and simple for me to upload the majority of my iCloud Photo Library. The UI is intuitive and feels very responsive, I think the developers have put a lot of time and effort into this, for a first version I am very excited to see where this will go!

A long time coming
This app finally lets you store and share photos with your family without Zuck & Co peeping in and seeing how they can turn your private data into money for their shareholders. Will be encouraging my whole family to get this. Oh and the time capsule idea is awesome!!
