Amazing App!

I used this recently to figure out who my elected officials are in Atlanta and it was so easy!

Very useful for effectively contacting politicians

This app is pretty cool. I just used Empowrd to email my mayor and city Councilmembers— the ones that I actually vote for.

Contacting politicians that don’t represent your area is basically a waste of time. Empowrd tells you specifically who your representatives are and gives you multiple specific ways to contact them directly— including their office phone number and email address.

You can also enter the causes and organizations you support, so Empowrd can keep you informed about efforts to support them and help you participate.

Currently useless

The contact and other engagement information is completely missing for offices in my area. Not even the state governor. Remove from the market if you’re unable to serve your intended purpose.

I am an older lady :) and I still found this to be a really simple way to regularly contact my elected officials.

Great idea... not great execution

I saw the app on the Tech Edge and immediately started the iOS App Store search to download. I could not find it, obviously because of the gross misspelling of Empowered without any direction or explanation to potential users. I could have stopped there but decided it was such a good idea that I would do a google search. Couldn't find it. Same reason, even though I added additional search terms. Finally searched something that had to do with Tech Edge and some other combo and got to it. Downloaded it. Horrible. I see broken code in the display, which explains why it took a while to get the results I wanted. Finally got to results and there is absolutely no valuable info about officials other than their name and address. I could've done a much easier google search to get that. Please work on this. Good potential there but a huge missed opportunity to get major TV exposure and not be ready to deliver :(

Now you can search for any federal and statewide leaders across the nation, and most major metropolitan areas. You can view leader profiles for a description of what they do, view maps, term dates, and contact information. We hope the update has addressed the shortcomings you have listed.
