Just what I needed
A simple app, but does exactly what it says: provides blank widgets for spacing on lock screens.
Perfect.
This app is perfect and best of all free. Gives you the option to add empty spaces to your Lock Screen widgets so you can place your widget where you like in the grid without it snapping back to the centre. Thank you developer because there are many charging for apps that do the same thing. 5 ⭐️’s.

Invisible widgets work on the lock screen! I got this because I wanted an invisible item above the time on my lock screen. The iPhone by default has the full date (Saturday, April 27), and anything else one adds shortens the date (Sat 27) and adds other information after it (next event, alt. calendars, time zone, &c.). Selecting this app shortens the date but adds nothing after it, which gives it a nice minimalistic look, which I like.

Required a restart
Tip: Restart your iPhone if the blank widget is not available after installing and opening the app.
Note that the widget is invisible, but still tappable. You may do this by mistake. It will open the widget app when you do so.
