a horrible app and horrible university
I regret attending this university, its been 2 years since I graduated and been applying to jobs relative to my college major and not a single one moves to next step in hiring or a job offer. I have had multiple meetings with career counselors and none of them care. They act like they are trying to help you but then they’ll laugh at you. i’ve had help with fixing up my resume and how to apply to different jobs, but it just all seems like it was nonsense and useless.

Repeated pop up to rate a success coach
Here I am again in November 2025, with the EXACT same problem. I was asked repeatedly to rate Alexandra Kubiak and could not get beyond the pop up. Everything I wrote well over a year ago stands. sadly I had to delete the app again. What is the problem? . Will this comment even be addressed?
My current success coach recommended that I finally download this app to have a better experience with all things EMU. I downloaded the app today and it keeps blocking my entire screen with a pop up window - repeatedly asking me to rate a previous success coach. I did it 3 times and hit submit, and it continuously pops up. I cannot even use the app. What’s happening here? Very frustrating. Please fix this. I deleted the app and am not sure if I even want to deal with this. Thanks.
Well, I decided to delete the app and reinstall, and the exact same thing occurred. I hope it gets fixed.

No moderation
There is no moderation of the app and it’s run by only one person. So, we are constantly subjected to toxicity and no one is ever held accountable. It’s basically twitter for emu

I used to like this app, but I haven’t been able to see any comments lately. It looks like they’re being covered or cropped
App crashing
I can’t go on the app anymore without anything not loading. Then I’ll get on and it crashes. Waste of space on my phone

I’m a newbie at EMU, especially for living on campus. But EMU engage is a great app for getting involved, meeting new people, and knowing your way around! Everything can be overwhelming at first, but i really love the app. Especially it’s social media feature to talk to other students who want to make friends or start groups with similar students as well! Highly recommend 🤍🤍
