This app stole money from me thru Instant Games.
Somehow this app has ads that link thru to my PayPal account and then thru to my bank account. AVOID USING AT ALL. I can see the banner ad that I accidentally may have touched. It is a THIEF.
Läuft stabil, auf iPad auch groß genug
Ich habe damit ein Text-Adventure gespielt und es hat sehr gut funktioniert auf einem iPad. Auf einem Smartphone ist der Bildschirm hingegen zu klein.
Joystick
I couldn’t get the app to use a physical joystick already connected to the iPhone. How do you configure the app to use the physical joystick instead of the virtual on-screen joystick?

Leider nur ein paar Sekunden getestet und dann deinstalliert.
Gründe: Merkwürdige ultraschmale Tastatur und Position oben. App geht nur im Querformat. Winziger C64-Screen zwischen Tastatur und Werbebanner. Linker Rand der Optionen wird durch die iPhone-Notch abgeschnitten. Werbebanner verkleinert das Bild unnötig.
Klar, es ist kostenlos, aber letztlich zahlt man mit seinen Daten und im aktuellen Zustand wäre mir die App auch keine direkte Geldausgabe wert. Dann nehme ich lieber gleich Retroarch oder einen dedizierten Retro-Handheld.

Impressive but buggy
It was a delight to see the two-tone blue screen again. However, when entering line of BASIC by hand, half the time it doesn’t pick up that the line should be added to the program. Therefore unusable. Still, was great to see the demonstration.
Buggy, slow, full of ads… simply disappointing
The keyboard appears only at the top of the screen and can't be moved to the bottom of closed. When running the fractal program from the included demo disk, it runs so slowly. It's amazing that this emulator for a 40 year old computer doesn't have an option to run the processor at the speed of a modern one. Finally, there emulator died in the middle of the fractal demo due to some audio error. The demo didn't even use audio. Aside from that demo, the emulator overall is awkward and clumsy. Using an actual Commodore 64 from the 1980s would be a much better experience.

Half baked
Crashes when sound is enabled. Keyboard input is erratic. SAVE doesn’t work. Virtually no documentation.
Installation is full of data mining stuff!
Frankly, I’ve never seen an app with this much add and data mining and tracking permissions, many that you can’t even disable, during the installation process! Holy heck! It feels like you go through 40+questions about permissions or more!! Hopefully someone will come along and give us a better, less intrusive port of the Vice emulator than this. I’d be fine paying for a good app version of the Vice Emulator. Going this extensive add, and tracking rout is NOT the way to go. I’ve dreamed of having a C64 emulator on my iPhone so I can have fun writing and running programs. Sadly, this is not the app for me.

Ich finds gut und es läuft….
Bisher liefen alle einseitigen D64 Spiele. Mehrseitige Spiele sind wohl nicht möglich.
Mich stört nicht die etwas umständliche Importvariante.
Die Bedienung der Tastatur und Joystick sind gut gelungen und auch der Switch zwischen Port 1 und 2 ist einfach gestaltet.
Mir gefällt der Emulator.

Ottima applicazione che emula alla perfezione il C64 consentendo anche di agganciare i propri D64!
Sul mio iPadAir2 del 2015 gira un po’ lento, ma è colpa dell’anzianità della mia macchina.
Mi piacerebbe molto avere un emulatore analogo per Videopac (o2em) e per C128!

No se pueden cargar .tap
No se pueden cargar archivos tap que son replicas digitales de cinta de cassette. La presentación y adaptación a la pantalla del iphone también es muy mala.

Muy mala parece una app del primer iPhone, no cuadran los texto, hay mucho bordes desperdiciado y un montón de anuncios molestos
Good attempt
It is a good attempt but without external joystick (PS4 gamepad) or being able to redefine keyboard (magic keyboard) for joystick emulation, it just doesn't work well.

How to manage the « play on tape » with an ipad/iphone ?
Without that, cannot play with games, they all request that action !

Tastatur oben im Bildschirm
Warum ist die Tastatur oben im Bildschirm? Das ist sowas von unkomfortabel, die Tastatur gehört noch unten. So ist das arbeiten sehr unangenehm.

This is a great c64 emulator, however I just have one recommendation could you add support for .prg files and also fix the sound buffer overflow error
Only landscape
The c64 screen is tiny (IPhone 14 Pro Max), the keyboard takes most of the top of it.
I don’t get the layout choice, I tried to type a basic program and it was super painful.
It should be vertical oriented, screen on top and keyboard/joystick at the bottom, that way the screen woul be much bigger (almost 4x the viewable area) and it would be easier to type holding the phone.
