Game is fun, but not great for free-to-play.
I enjoyed the gameplay and the story a lot, but the way to get cards, the way you earn gems that doesn't involve paying for them, and the fact that removing ads is a monthly charge, stinks of greed. Also had an issue with the Clocktower Wraith, where I was essentially soft locked because the boss couldn’t kill me due to my defense kit, but I couldn’t kill the boss due to my offense relying on counter attacks and the boss healing all the damage I was able to do.

enjoyable combat heavy text roguelike
much like the previous tower of winter this game is addictive with cool art. lots of content, lots to grind for. thanks for alternate ways to earn gems through playing this time

I really enjoyed the first game tower of winter. It’s not perfect but quite addicting trying to min/max your build.

I gave this game a few months after not getting past the second land boss. And after a second attempt today it needs a very special build which defeats the purpose of giving players choice. I love the idea of this game, but yet again devs have put up a paywall that only a few get over.

Unbalanced
Game is pretty fun right up until they start throwing enemies at you that paralyze you every other turn, which forces you to use very specific builds or just die.
Some of the art is nice, but a lot of the art for non-combat encounters is ai slop.

Needs a better way of unlocking characters
Loving the game play and the ability to unlock cards is a nice touch compared to the last game. However dev went straight greedy on the gems this game. There should be a way to unlock different characters besides a >1% rng daily chance. Also very upset that the ad remove for $8 is only valid for one month. I would never have bought that if I realized it. Thought it was just the double gems that was 30 days but the ad removal was permanent.

Misleading Reviews
Not sure which of these ads are actually real, but the art in this game is not good, it’s just more AI slop with some decent text and poorly cropped UI. This game would be infinitely better if they just used a little bit of effort and made some real art, even if the art wasn’t as good. Sigh.

재밌게 플레이하는중이에요
다만 조금 아쉬운건 초반에는 계속 같은 패턴이라 조금 아쉬워요. 중간 보스나 보스 같은애들도 계속 똑같은 애들만 나와서요. 물론 조금씩 다른게 있긴해도 조금 더 다양하면 좋겠어요. 후반에는 다 달라서 재밌게 하고 있어요.
Solid Text RPG
I like storytelling it too much but Al’s not too little. The mechanics are the same it is pretty clear what you should go for with each character and still need to make good decisions. I like the balance so far. Only thing for me is story is mostly same for each character, if you do expansions can you tailor story for each character a bit more? Also one day, I would like these characters to meet if possible. Like the game hope it does not get abandoned.
