What's New in Endless Waves Foil Progression

2.7

June 22, 2026

Voice pace on your watch (Downwind) Your watch can now call out your split pace as you ride — every half kilometer or half mile. Choose whether it reads your current pace, your best split, or both, and set a speed cutoff so it only speaks when you're actually up and foiling. Turn it on under Downwind settings. Both speed units on the watch Zoom out on the watch metrics view and you'll now see mph and kph side-by-side. Satellite / streets toggle now everywhere The basemap switch moved into the map's ⋯ menu, and your choice now applies to every map in the app — including the videos you generate and share. Hide directional arrows You can now hide the direction arrows on non-downwind maps from the ⋯ menu. Start / finish flags cleaned up Start and finish flags now show only on downwind sessions, where they belong. Downwind settings polish Unified kilometers/miles unit rows (with the matching speed shown underneath), the guide and how-to videos now open on top of settings instead of closing it, and the settings sheet no longer closes itself unexpectedly. Fixes - Fixed a crash when opening Longest Pump / Longest Wave on certain sessions. - Shared Runs now explains why a run might be missing and gives you a quick way to send feedback.

Tons of features for foil nerds

Really great start for a foil platform. All the stats you can ask for and the leaderboard is a cool way to stay competitive. Really responsive support too. I could see this app growing and getting sharper every week. Excited to see the foil community embrace it!

What a robust app for foiling

For a couple years, I have struggled with finding a meaningful way to integrate my foiling with a map and associated data. This map catalogs are waves automatically or using the wave assist mode with your Apple Watch Ultra. You can sort your waves based on a number of parameters. You can catalog equipment used, and even create a short video to share.
